Põdi Posted July 2, 2001 Report Posted July 2, 2001 Because a recent thread of mine disappeared. I was just expressing my views (positive at that) on the Demo. It was neither abusive or inflammatory, just a couple of comments. any ideas? [ 07-02-2001: Message edited by: Paddy Gregory ]
Guest $iLk Posted July 2, 2001 Report Posted July 2, 2001 I think that if you were talking about the demo - it probably has something to do with the fact that there is a designated thread in the demo forum for comments on the demo. i have seen a couple other posts disappear like that because when SC starts off a thread with the first post being - this is the thread for such and such discussion - that is exactly what he means.I believe you can rest assured that it was nothing personal, but imagine after the demo came out if 50 threads popped up all on the same subject.Just clutter control I imagine.

Guest $iLk Posted July 2, 2001 Report Posted July 2, 2001 hehe... I remember. SC kept getting pissed saying "there is a specific thread for this", while threads like "Cool Demo" "Kick@$$ game" "BCM Demo Rocks" kept popping up and getting shot down.
Põdi Posted July 2, 2001 Author Report Posted July 2, 2001 OK, that's fair enough, the reason I posted a separate thread was that I couldn't find the designated one at the time, but I probably wasn't looking far enough back (everyone had moved onto Ep2 by then). Then when I did find it, my comments hadn't been moved there. Oh well, you live and learn. Not pissed-off (much), just curious.
Emmett.hendrick Posted July 3, 2001 Report Posted July 3, 2001 Alright Paddy hows things I've had a few hand slappings from the SC on the boards aswell, it happens can blame the SC he's just trying to keep control and not give himself an even bigger work load, his policies are fair and at least he uses the same rules for everybody.
