Yeah, okay...In my rage I asked that. I take it back. I didn't mean it. I was very overwhelmed and I've been dealing with this I guess badly. I didn't know anyone who worked in the WTC building or the Pentagon but Dammit I felt what they were going through. I couldn't imagine anything worse!

It's OK, Akuma, really. Don't worry about it.

Also, I'd like to show this whole conversation as an example of how conflicting ideologies can cause conflict. Just look at the way some were amused and others were quite fierce in their dissent. That is part of the reason we face this very situation.

Go Jackie!!! Hmm... Actually, the part I think you're talking about (of the next Jackie Chan comedy/action movie, Nose Bleed) was supposed to be shot atop the Empire State Building. But it would be funny to see him whoop Osama into next year, though.

Boy, I'm not real good at debating, but hell, it's cool to have a good political conversation once in a while. At first, I felt just like Akuma, understanding and feeling other's pain, even if I didn't know any of them.

And then it hit home. Earlier this week, I learned that one of my school's driver education teachers had a son on the 107th floor of one of the Twin Towers. It shocked me, realizing that this affected my direct community--not just the country I lived in, but actually my town. I mean, I knew thousands of lives were gone, but it was still hard to comprehend the fact that it truly affected us as a nation. Unfortunately, my teacher's son is still listed as one of the missing. Next week, we're running a dontation drive throughout the entire district, for the family.

As long as oppression and injustice is around, there will be stuff like this. Terrorism, in my opinion, acts like a flame. It spreads and expands. You've got to choose your weapons and plans wisely. You don't want to try to extinguish a fire with alcohol, right?

And even if terrorism is stomped-out, there's always going to be a little smoldering piece of stuff, waiting for another chance to rebuild the flame. We've got to take them out, and take out their fuel.

Finally, you shouldn't just mark Osama Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda as terrorists. There are too, red-blooded Americans who are involved with terrorism (which is what SC said). Neo-Nazis still exist, the Al Qaeda exists, the Taliban exists, and who the hell knows what other 'underground' terrorist-like movements are out there.

Eu and Menchise are right. This is more of a debate, and everyone gets their right to say what they want (provided it complies with the CAT guidelines, of course). And folks, leave your rage-driven remarks to yourself. Debate, don't battle. Remember that.

I think that picture is hillarious. Also, that picture makes me feel like we are avenging those lifes lost in NY, not sitting around the campfire and talking about how horrible it would be if we started inflicting the same kind of pain on our enemies. YES ENEMIES. In my eyes, every citizen of another county, the country that harbours those terrorists and then lets them loose on another countries is responsible. No matter how weak they are, they always have the choice to rebel against their government and install a new one. Take Russia in WWI for example. They were at war, people were exhausted, and yet they still uprised in their own country against the Czar and made a new government. So being poor or tired or weak is not an excuse, and since they are not doing anything about it then US needs to do something about it. There, I am done.
