GREG MILLER Posted October 12, 2001 Report Posted October 12, 2001 Twenty years ago, my Dad retired from the Air Force. Our last post was at Griffis Air Force in Rome, NY. This was a SAC base, and as a result, BUFF's were always out on the tarmak ready to go, with their camo coloring. They are truly an awesome piece of machinery.When I was 5, we were stationed at Wright Patterson A.F.B., in Dayton Ohio. Needless to say, I made numerous trips to the Air Force Museum. Oh those were the days.
