Guest Hellbinder[CE] Posted October 10, 2001 Report Posted October 10, 2001 I just ordered (next dat air) a brand stinking new Athlon Xp 1600+ and Motherboard. The benchmarks on the new AthlonXP processors are blazing fast. The Xp 1600 runs at 1.4ghz and the 1800 (that smokes a P4 2ghz) is 1.533they run with 20% less power and heat compared to the "old" tbirds. Thus the 1600+ overclocks from 1.4ghz to 1.6ghz with no additional cooling making faster than a 2ghz P4!!!!I am pacing holes in my floor already with anticipation.
