Guest Posted June 11, 2002 Report Posted June 11, 2002 Just go to your START->Programs and find your DVD player software and launch it. Press PLAY. Enjoy. BTW, I dont know if you disabled the autoplay on purpose or not, but you better leave it disabled. Many DVD's come with auto-installing software "to make sure you can play the dvd"...which usually screws your windows up.
Hunted Posted June 11, 2002 Author Report Posted June 11, 2002 well i think the program i use is dvgate but i don't know how to use it :-( if you can't tell me how can you at least tell me how to turn my autoplay on?
Parias Posted June 11, 2002 Report Posted June 11, 2002 The function to enable and disable autoplay under Windows XP consistently eludes me. It was in plain sight under the properties of the hardware in question in Device Manager under 9x, but XP seems to have hidden it fairly well. I've learned to live with it though, and if something annoying pops up, I just smack "Cancel" untill it goes away [ 06-11-2002, 18:16: Message edited by: Parias ]
