CommanderJohnson
Computer? What kind of computer do all of you have, and how does BCM, and do other games, run on it? In a couple days i'm getting a: P4 2.4 ghz 533 bus speed CPU with 512 MB RDRAM 120 gb HD @ 7,200 RPM 20 gb removeable HD at 5,400 RPM (no games going on it) Geforce 4 Ti 4600 Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer CD burner, DVD drive...don't really care about them (ok, so this thread was intended for me to brag about my new comp.....anyone wanna beat that? was going to get the fastest P4, but it was a $300 price jump from the 2.4 ) EDIT: This relates to BC because I looked at SC's "Ultimate" reqs for the future BC games and decided to get a jump on it. PLEEEEASE dont increase the reqs. [/rp] *grovels* [/endrp] [ 07-13-2002, 05:24 PM: Message edited by: Dredd ]

LordDavid
My 1 Ghz Thunderbird with Geforce 3 runs everything I have great at 1024x768 or higher with full detail (everything besides Morrowind that is, but it IS perfectly playable at least.) I usually don't think of upgrading until systems are at least twice as fast as my current one, and right now AMD hasn't quite reached 2 GHz yet. Cmdr Nova
Celeron 500mhz, 192 MB RAM 40gb HD Geforce 2 MX400 (32mb) Built in AC97' Sound CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive Windows XP Pro Running at 1152x864@32bit (17 in. Monitor) ph33r.... ph33r for me, that is. I bring this thing down to it's knees daily with my uber-multitasking (sometimes I get up to 8 IE windows open with other programs), and routines in Photoshop and 1st Page 2000. All of this with Winamp and Trillian usually running in the background, and mIRC active 24/7 as I log a chatroom I run for a clan. Hehe... Luckily, I don't game often, so I don't need the killer system. The only game I've been playing recently is HL: Counter-strike, and I'm not exactly the best player. If it's not me on the computer, it's my brother, playing CS. (He's the reason why our record is still anywhere close to 1 kill-to-death. Heh... We'd be a ton worse on our record if I was the only one that played. ) I'm slowly planning to build my own system when I've got the time/cash. But, that's kinda far off. I swear, I need a job..... Then again, I'm too lazy. [ 07-13-2002, 07:50 PM: Message edited by: Cmdr Nova ]
