Guest Grayfox Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 Well, since everyone here is in the fad of moving, i figured it would be my turn. as some of you already know, im leaving this wretched hive of scum and villiany known as las vegas, and moving to the more serene semi-city of springfield, IL to start my life, and my sons life anew. i have a good job lined up, the neighborhoods nice and quiet, and theres plenty of courses where i can catch up on my golf game. My house is sold, and i will be leaving Saturday morning. Ill be off net for about 3 days or so until i can get out there and get the rig set up. unfortunately ill be using a dial up (yuck) until i can reacquire some cableage. so if i dont post anything by thursday, ill see yall next week.
Fendi Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 People say I'm mad because I like changing cars every year. You guys just take the biscuit by moving to a new home more often than I change cars.
Guest Remo Williams Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 When you get there if you run into Homer Simpson tell him Howdy. LOL! No seriously good luck with your move. Change is a good thing sometimes.

Kevin Trotter Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 Good luck and Godspeed my friend. See you when you reach civilization. (If cable isn't available have you considered DirecTV's ISP? I heard its pretty resonable. I'm even considering it cheap as I am) Until then Au Revoir
Guest Grayfox Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 jeez you guys make it sound like they dont have running water where im moving thanks everyone. and yes, race, they will have cable. i researched that today its just the problem of prioritization... should the rig go in the car, or the moving van??? decisions decisions lol.
Emmett.hendrick Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Best of luck with the move Grayfox. A change of scenery can make all the difference sometimes!
Epsilon 5 Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 The car. The moving van *could* damage the coumputer.
Epsilon 5 Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Emmett.hendrick: A change of scenery can make all the difference sometimes!Personally, I don't want to move out. however, I can't wait for my brother to move out at his 18 years birthday, next july. No more Marilyn Manson look, no more of his "gothic", metal and hard rock music played at twice an acceptable volume - the door closed! (to understand how I feel when I enter the bedroom, take some good metal song, put it real loud, and after that, put it louder! Oh and increase treble/decrease bass since he's using cheap speakers.) And best of all .. A ROOM FOR MEEEE!!! ME ME ME ME ME AND ME ALONE! I will have been waiting for this for about 6 years (that's the time where he started to change for the worse). I won't be sitting in the living room anymore! I'll have privacy! Already started to make plans on the layout of the room .... /rant off
Raven Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Listening to gothic music without a subwoofer should be criminal.
AWells Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Listening to gothic music should be criminal.
GREG MILLER Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 The car, period. I would never trust my baby to the movers. Unless you want to look like this until they come and deliver... Have a safe move my friend, and see you when you get back.
Epsilon 5 Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Litvyak: Listening to gothic music should be criminal.YES! No seriously, he likes that music, but I like Dance / Trance / Techno. There's quite a difference.
AWells Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 And listening to Dance / Trance / Techno should be a capital offense
Epsilon 5 Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Litvyak: And listening to Dance / Trance / Techno should be a capital offense Yeah, music should be banned. Period
AllenKG2001 Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Epsilon 5, you think you've got it bad with your brother. Try living with a brother that plays the keyboard and sings along to it. Badly!!!
Guest Grayfox Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 i just love how all these topics get blown off course lol. i figured id put the rig in the car... but i also figured id get a second opinion as for goth music... not for me. im all for old timer music, like ac/dc and some stones. although ive been catching some new stuff from dragpipe and good charlotte...

Badly!!! Yea, that is bad, but imagine living with a natural nocturnal who likes loud gothic music and reads net comics (while shrieking laughing) at 4 or 5am. DonÔÇÖt I sound like a fun person to be around quote: as for goth music... not for me. im all for old timer music, like ac/dc and some stones. although ive been catching some new stuff from dragpipe and good charlotte... Yea, some older stuff is good, Iron Maiden and Blue Oyster Cult for example.

Don’t I sound like a fun person to be around Sounds like my old flat mate when I was living in London. Except she had blood red hair and liked to go to vampire nights were they sucked each others blood!! I swear she use to hang upside down from a pole at night. As for me, I like to stay up late as well lately. And you can't beat good old Iron Maiden. I've moved from one place to another so many times this year I've lost count!!! I'm also working my ar$e off at mo, studying an MCSD in Visual C++, Writing a database for a small company and going around fixing peoples computers! I need a vacation.
Lotharr Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 I don't want to pry but does your new job include packing the hot ****?
Guest Fox__Trot Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 Must kill all others with fox in handle... (drools)
