It's 4:00 am and I just got home from an exciting night of playing trivial pursuit and scattergories with a few friends over beers. Oh gawd! I feel so old, now... that's almost what my parents consider an exciting night out.

I just must ask; who else in this community is a college student in america? For it is thursday, and I have been drinking with my friends, and this evening has served me well towards the goal of helping me forget the stresses of everyday university life (such as proper spelling and reading and such)> Ah to be young and aimless, which I am no more. I am geared towards a life of Law, and I have felt it coming for years. Ah but I will forever miss and yearn for the life of youthful ignoarance and innocense. Anyone else?

Well, IÔÇÖm currently a college student in America, and as I have only set foot out of my house once or twice in the last few weeks (the deck doesnÔÇÖt count) so I canÔÇÖt say our experiences are all that similar. Oh well, there is something to be said for taking courses online... I get to sleep at weird hours and read a lot

Is this age limited? At the ripe old age of 42

I'm a full time student at night , a full time worker during the day and an occasional father and husband.

It's a wonder I get time to play BCM and chat with you fanatstic people at all!

yep... im sittin at the ripe old age of errr... 28 i think *counts on fingers* yeah 28, ive been thru about 1/4 of the university life. the rest im waiting to finish when my son goes to school all day.

i work 3rd shifts, get home, pack him up for school, then i go. pick him up, go home get some rest, cook dinner, sleep some more lol, then get him into bed, and me ready for work.

sounds fun dont it???

and what is beer anyway??? i havent had one in so long i practically forgot what they make them out of anymore and social life??? surely you jest.

for those SINGLE college students, i can offer this bit of advice: go out as often as you can. dont turn into a troglodyte. even if youre not the sociable type, get out once in awhile, itll do wonders.

Fox , you're back you old war horse. I trust things are well in Springfield? And don't you worry about the beer thing I'm sure you'll find ye olde tavern serving Chicago's own Old Style Beer in record time. And please develop a social life while you're still young(ha ha) The Evil One says Hi to Spawn.

Note to college students word from Dr. Hunter S Thompson( A gun toting liberal)To paraphrase him

"While I certainly couldn't advocate the use of drugs and alcohol I must say they always worked for me.."

I'm 23 and going to college....utterly amazing what a person can learn when not trying to make ends meet....I'm American....but not like most I suppose....instead of thinking fondly of a better tomorrow I'm trying to make it happen....

That sounds more like my typical college life, except I don't take online courses. I go to class 3 or 4 days a week and the rest of the time I almost never leave the house.

There's something to be said for being single, though.
