Guest Grayfox Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 while doing a recon of my new surroundings, i happened upon the local barnes and noble. whilst perusing the local wares i came across this book titled "The Art of shen ku". anyone ever heard of this or read it??? i bought it simply for the entertainment factor. its a large book, and reminds me of a hitchhikers guide. theres everything from survivability in extreme circumstances, to how women can stay looking young. it has games kids can play while on a road trip, travel advice (how to store money and valuables on your person while travelling) and theres even a self defense section... which i find amusing. there is also tons of other information. it was only 20 bucks, id suggest picking it up. it does have some useful entries, but its also good as comic relief [ 10-20-2002, 03:04 PM: Message edited by: Grayfox ]
echo Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I just checked it out at Amazon, it seems like a good way to kill time and mabey learn something in the process. Mabey I will pick it up. It looks like I could use a brush up on a few of the topics hahahaha
