He was an accomplished film and stage actor with great range and in his youth a very powerful presence. He will be missed by all who appreciate the craft of acting and the art of film. Excuse my snippiness but to be remembered for such a minor role is the equivalent of calling Olivier "that guy in the Boys from Brazil"
