Q: Why don't you do something about it? We have done all that is possible. We have lodged complaints with those ISP's we can trace, most of which are ineffective. We have involved various law enforcement officials but legal investigations take time to conduct and don't provide any immediate solution to the problem. There is no more we can do, please remember we are a free service run by volunteers on donated equipment and bandwidth, we cannot simply throw more bandwidth at the problem and even if we could, the attacks are so massive it would make little if any difference. Legal investigations do however take time to complete and we are unable to comment any further on the status of those investigations.[/quote You might think this is in the internet, so it doesn't really apply to people. But this sort of frustration is what people go through when criminals find ways like this to get around the law. Either no law exists to stop them, or the punishment is no punishment, or the resources are not there to be invested in what someone doesn't deem important but is deeply affecting people. (this logic might be true) if you have one detective and someone got their purse snatched, and another got raped, who would you want the detective to deal with first... The wheels of justice turn slowly indeed. A very true statement. Something law enforcement people deal with everyday that we don't know how to really really care anymore.
