Rumor central: Nic Cage as Prince Namor?

While we are still discussing the superhero theme AICN has reported that Nicholas Cage, who has been linked to Superman and Ghost Rider projects , is in training to play Sub-Mariner , which is supposedly in pre-production. If any of you fan boys have heard this or can confirm it, please do so.

You know that at www.superherohype.com there were a lot of rumors flying around about a year ago that Cage was going to do Iron Man. But the Script fell through at that time.

I think he would make a Fantastic Iron Man. Currently Thanks to the success of Marvels every move.. heh.. Iron Man is again going full steam ahead. It could make a fall 2004 Release. There have been a couple new Script submissions, they ahve a director etc.. No info on the Casting yet.

Punnisher is currently in Full blown production, in fact they are just finishing up filming. The guy who was the Star of DreamCatcher is playing Frank Castle..

They have a section for every upcomming movie project and some darn nice Forums to.. that is if you can handle the Geeks Flamming the *Crap* out of each other hundreds of times a day over minute disagreements of Dogma..

Ask and you shall receive. A Fantastic Four movie is in the works as we speak. Studio exec's didn't like the first draft of the script and sent it back. I read in JoBlow.com that the director went out of his way to say that despite rumors, George Clooney and Renee Zellwegger have not been cast as Reed and Sue Richards. (SC forgive me I tried $ilk's instructiuons and still couldn't create a proper link.)

matt damon would make a good johnny storm, and im stuck on who would be good as the thing... ahhh maybe the guy from "the transporter" ???

this is a little OT but it deals with marvel comics & movies.

The Punisher is coming out next summer, being a big fan i was upset to find out Thomas Jane is playing Frank Castle. i mean thats like having Paul Reubens as Dr. Doom.

thomas jane is a pretty good actor, but he definitely doesnt fit the role of the punisher... unless he put on some serious muscle.

and please please let them have a half decent storyline in this one?
