d8alus Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I just downloaded a cloak hak pack for NWN and loaded it onto the main story modules. Now my character looks all pimp in his solid black armor with a black cloak flowing down his back. So, seeing how awesome the character looks (and it works for good guys, too) and seeing how often characters in books wear cloaks..and even the fact that the cloak ITEMS exist in the game even if they aren't rendered.... WHY? Why aren't the cloaks rendered? Is there some unspoken rule in game developer land that you can't include cloaks because it would make the player characters look too badass?
Guest $iLk Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 This argument continues ad nauseum on the Bioware community forums. There is always a quote on the front page with the developers explaining why on Neverwinter Vault. But good to see another NWN player. My MP module is nearing completion, the hak is available here. The module is based on the city from BG2, Athkatla. I ran a version before, but the new version is even better.
