I download the demo for this game comming to the US in October. It's a 314 mb file but it was worth every byte of it. WOW it's like HALO, DEUS EX, SYSTEM SHOCK 2 and unreal2 wrapped up into one game. The graphics far exceed that of Unreal. Check it out for yourself CHROME

As for the shots I found that it depends on the type of gun used. The first encounter in the woods I stood up while taking many hits killed the guys and looted them and I took alot more than 5 shots. But the sniper rifle is another issue . But even that I survived multiple hits. I think it might depend what game level you select. I have not tried it on hard setting yet but I will to see if the shots do more damage.
