Count every "F " in the following text:

quote:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE

SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI

FIC STUDY COMBINED WITH

THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...

(SEE BELOW)

WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke.

READ IT AGAIN !

The reasoning behind is further down.

The brain cannot process "OF".

Incredible or what? Go back and look again!!

Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius.

Three is normal, four is quite rare.

Well I saw six, but I'm a proof reader by profession, making me unusually sensitive to prepositions and the particulars of the English language, especially with the subject title you gave.

I guess it would have been better to have a few empty lines before the answer is given so that it's not on the same screen as the test, since when I opened the thread, the answer was in the middle of the screen, spoiling the test.

Forgot to alternate new lines and spaces when I posted. I doubt it would change anything though, you being a professional proof reader.
