Wait until I have the mod done to it...LOL I can program it via my computer as well, just have to buy the interface cables, this thing is incredible. I can listen to my AM talk shows, and listen to the local repeater at the same time, the thing is just kickin!! I cannot believe all the frequencies it recieves, I can listen to Short Wave, Television, AM/FM, Marine, Aircraft, AM and FM, no Sideband though, which sucks, but hey, it's a handi talkie..LOL Speaking of star trek, I can work the Oscar satelites well with it as well... Oh yeah, this beast is NICE!!!
