  3. Poor Jack. Brainwashed by all the BS our legal system has to offer. I wonder if he is aware of our world's violent past, present, and future. Those who are predisposed by thier environment or mental state can and will continue to commit violent acts. I think Jack will be hard pressed to prove any link between these acts and a video game. Thirty short years ago we didn't really have the technology to create these types of games and there were still instances of violent acts by nut jobs. One could just as easily say that it's caused by violent movies and television. Saying it and proving it beyond a shadow of doubt are two different things.
  4. quote: Originally posted by stingray: Not that their MO is anything new with this release. There were problems with SH2 and 3. I liked SH3 a lot and I played it quite a bit. I haven't touched SH4 yet and I won't until they've fixed it to the point where it is actually playable on the hardware people have. I haven't touched FSX either, for the same reason. I played the Shitzengruebbers outta SH III Looks like you will never be playing SH IV . Ubishaft...right up there with Take Two, EA, Hasbro, etc etc ad nauseum.
  5. *Bump* Update: [sH IV Wolves of the Pacific has been out for a couple of months and two patches already. Not too bad of a Sub simulator. Anyone else checked out this title? The reason I ask is due to the apparent lack of testing this title recieved prior to it's release. As it turns out, SH IV is not much more than a rehashed version of SH III. Complete with a few bugs that are still prevalent in SH III. Not to mention numerous missing features that are explained in the manual but are nowhere to be found in the application. The faithful skippers over on the SH IV forums have been diligently reporting the bugs and other problems and asking when the next patch would be released to address the numerous issues. Unfortunately the pleas have been met with dead silence. Today, now it gets interesting, The North American Community Manager on the forums made a statement and a laughable request to the community.. AND THE MUTINY BEGINS Hilarity ensues as another dumbass publisher shoots themselves in the foot.
  6. Cadet Gargantou, Welcome to the club. Your training has just begun. Stow your gear and fix your sig and then you'll be ready to tackle those overwhelming odds found in the BC series.

  9. Well said Boss. One does have to wonder why the race card hasn't been pulled from the deck, cut into very small pieces and placed where it belongs, in the waste receptecle of obscure ideas. At the end of the day we are all Americans, regardless of our heritage.

  15. This is the kind of thing that makes the BC series so appealing.... getting into trouble and figuring out how to get out of it.
  16. I just had to laugh when I ran thier little compatibility App.... It listed all the programs that might have issues. Several of them were current Microshaft programs like Instant Messenger. I call that shooting yourself in the foot to spite your face.
