  2. First of all, Here's how to put system info in your sig

    1) Except for that little trick, onboard ship operations such as guarding an area.

    2)Because.

3)Hmm...while it is possible to land on buildings, I wouldn't reccomend it.

4 and 4a)No and no. Wait for XP1.

    5) Yes, hit "O" twice, then "k" until the display in the radar reads "HMN", then hit "m". Once you move the display will disapear, so you could use the TTU(I think that's what it's called, hit the "P" key to activate) and then click on the hostile marines/objects.

    6) Because you can access these from TacOps, and you can't deploy troops or mining drones without a shuttle. It's puzzled me why they aren't at least accessible from the bridge, however...

7)What? There isn't a question 7? OK, you can stop reading now.

  3. After reading the review, it looks like he wrote it as he was playing, first being all excited, eventualy talking about the bugs, problems, things he didn't like...

    quote:

Take for example the option to look up and down. The FPS mode does not include one. To look in those directions you have to switch to an entirely different top view.

    It's on the reference card...

    quote:

Surprisingly though, all the work put into creating the BCM world didn't stop the game's creators from not wrapping it around any plot or guiding story

    That's really more of a half-truth IMO...

    quote:

As long as you don’t badmouth Derek or the games, of course. If you opt to do so we’re not responsible for what might happen.

    Well....

    quote:

    THE VERDICT: 72

    I don't get it either.

  4. 1. Not sure what you mean here.

    2. Medical, Repair, and Weapons stations are all in the same object, the supply station. Look for one at a planetary base or around a space station. They're only useful in FP mode, btw.

    3. Not sure, but when you select SMD it should show the cargo of a support craft or a cargo box. In the case of shuttles with mining drones, I think the SMD displays the cargo of the drone only when it's outside the shuttle, but not when it's in the shuttle. If you want to see how full the drones are, go into Tactical, Loadout, then select SC, and finaly select drone. You can then see how full each drone is and it's status.

    4. You have to mine on the planet's surface, but the Moon is a planet too . The procedure for mining is:

    1) Go into TacOps

    2) click on the target planet or moon

    3) zoom to the area you want to mine from

    4) Set 1 waypoint for each shuttle you want to deploy a drone from, and set it's position. Set the waypoints as "Deploy Drone".

    5) Launch the shuttle(s), with "resume waypoints" orders. Make sure you're close to the planet or moon in question first, though...

    6) Once you see the message,"Mining drone X deployed from Shuttle Y", the shuttles will start heading home. Then go have some fun, chase some pirates, save the galaxy, etc. while the drones fill.

    5. Not sure...is the NWW around to handle this one?
