  1. And I suppose u feel much safer in your comfy carrier now that your back in Orion? When u were an indie I would've looked the other way but now your back as a target for destruction. Oh well, maybe I can get a nice fat bounty on your head yet.
  2. quote:If you have a Cruiser, you Fight or DIE!!(there's no running away!!) Cruisers all the way, 'nuff said.
  3. Valdemar reporting in, broadcasting all open channels to any Gammulan in the vicinity who requests merc services. Supplies r running low and those damn merc stations r charging me so high for weapons. [ 11-15-2002, 06:46 AM: Message edited by: Outlaw ]
  4. quote: Well, I'm future military I second that. Future part-time grunt in the Army National Guard. Go guns or go home!
  5. Somebody call a merc? Just got high speed internet access and enjoying the hell out of it.
  6. Just wanted to drop by and say hello to my warrior brothers and that I'm still alive. Conquer all and let the loot b used to fuel our war machine.
  7. I like show but the writers need to drop the whole thing about time travel and focus on the present. I know ST episodes have a lot of this but to me it gets old too fast. 'Geez if the federation were a warrior focused organization like the Klingons than a bunch of softies then the show would b better IMO. Remember the spartans of ancient Greece? Space is a neverending playground and the only way to survive is to conquer every territory and resource necessary for expansion. What makes Andromeda cool to me is not just the characters but how the old Commonwealth's military was structured like the modern military of today. The ships including the Andromeda Ascendant were built for war and not scientific applications. If the ships needed away missions u send lancers and not ST officers and crewmen which need to stay on the ship. Phasers? How about a force lance? doctor? How about nanobots? I have a dream and that dream is one day the federation will think like a Gammulan and will become a war focused military whose sole purpose is to conquer all that gets in their way! 8. Normally I don't post on politic topics but IMO that whole thing about the Florida ballots was so rigged. I mean c'mon Gore was clearly the winner if it weren't for Bush's bro Jeb the governor pulling the strings so that he would win.
  9. Space Above and Beyond. 'Nuff said.
  10. Firefly to me was alright but really needs improvement. That rust bucket definately needs some weapons to survive space combat. Show reminded me of Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop. Anybody else notice this?
  11. quote:Colonel McQueen was a tank too? Or did you mean cooper hawk...the bad boy Both. Personally I like Cooper Hawkes better than the other characters. You got a tank that's bred for war and will stop at nothing until the last chig and silicate have been annihilated. The Colonel and Hawkes definately make a dangerous pair of Marines.
  12. quote:Probably one of the better Sci-Fi shows that's been made, really. I think the only thing that bothered me about it was why the Marine Corps would send highly trained fighter pilots in as grunts every other episode... it was one of those things that just seemed to defy logic... it would be like giving a bunch of F-14 pilots M-16s and sending them in to fight as a rifle squad. Sure they might be able to handle the mission, but why the heck would you send them?? Well u know the USMC, "We do more with less" including using officers trained to fight as a grunt if need b. Remember, "Every Marine a rifleman" including officers. Another possibility would b that during the war a lot of casualties among the enlisted Marines were high that they had no choice but to have their officers fulfill the grunt missions. 13. Heh, T.C. MQueen one of the "tanks" as they called them. Loved SAAB as well and I wished they continued the series. Excellent use of the USMC to make a scifi series.
  14. Hey Grayfox, your were a grunt in the Army of One? Heh, going down to Benning myself in January next year to b in the Guard as a part time grunt. Grayfox the true feeling of hell doesn't start until u make it to Ranger school. Rangers lead the way!
  15. Bounty hunter or merc for obvious reasons.
  16. As shown in my sig, I prefer the Sunflash for a combo of speed and firepower and when the going gets tough, my speedy hyperdrive can get me out of the toughest firefights. Great as a fast transport as well.
  17. Heh, glad to hear u watch Cowboy Bebop too. Gotta love those quotes at the end. I really loved that episode u mentioned Genken. The whole deal about the "fridge monster" was just hilarious. "your gonna carry that extra weight."
  18. Still hunting for terran bounties. Watching Cowboy Bebop, it makes me wonder about the real life bounty hunters out there stalking there next prey. "Fugitive Recovery Agents" they call them but just another name for a bounty hunter. Am joining the Army National Guard next year to be a grunt part time. Read somewhere that this was the closest thing to being a merc but I intend on becoming an officer later on. [ 09-09-2002, 07:31 AM: Message edited by: Outlaw ]
  19. Hey Elio, ever thought about defecting galcom and just stay as your gammulan persona? I mean 'cmon u know that were the best race in the game and everytime I see your sig that includes your galcommie side I just wanna blow up your ship with my vagrants.
  20. In terms of smooth framerate, does the xbox version get the mark or gamecube?
  21. quote:now where's that pic of Resnigblowing up? Now that's something you'll always enjoy watching!
  22. Am I the only Gammulan merc here who is UCV?
  23. For all u indies, I recommend u put this on your must-have list. From all the previews I've read, it will surpass everything that made Mech 2 Mercenaries the best mechwarrior pc game.
  24. quote:Cowboy Bebop rocks! The indie's anime and one of my all time favorites and don't forget Outlaw Star.
