The gold announcement WAS a bit fast.... I'm looking forward to getting my copy so I can see if my fears the game is being shoved out prematurely don't come true.

I liked it. The cutscenes looked great IMHO, and it had the same great classic gameplay as the original.. albeit, improved now. Like the new engineering interface... I wasn't sure if the scripting checked for thermal signature when I hid in the cargo area right after the first few moments of the game, but just in case, I hit alt+e and cut power to all my systems. I wish there was a bit more control over what precisely one could cut power to though, rather than just a general bar... what do I do if I want to cut power to everything except the maneuvering thrusters and passive sensors? Overall though I definately like the game.. and the graphics are impressive.

Have a good trip Akuma, and if you arrive only to find a few odd items mysteriously missing, keep an eye out for vanishing radioactive garden gnomes, there have been a few rogue factions wandering about lately since E3....

I enjoyed it (although I was afraid that having 2 Janeways in the same location would rupture the space-time continuum or something). But yeah, the ending was too abrupt! Would've been nice to see what the hell happened after they got back...
