  2. SC I get that same "problem".I didn't realize it was supposed to be see through, but it never was for me. This problem was still there with 22.80. I recently did a fresh install and first used the 22.80 and had the same problem. The 23.11's gave me the same thing. Here is what it looks like I'm going to play around with video settings. [What are your current settings that get it to look right?]Fast writes and Side band addressing are curretly disabled on my system. I'll play around with video settings more and see.   4. Reproducible: 1.0.0.2 RC9 As commander of CC exit craft. Start running around the exterior of your craft, and as you are running around hit the space-bar to jump. The game crashed on me every time I tired this.

  8. Darn, I was hoping I'd be able to go to HJ to the outer reaches of a sector and have a space party I was hoping I could, becuase I'm trying to figure a way around the planetfall problem when I jump to a target on the other side of the planet. [ 12-03-2001: Message edited by: Fractux ]

  10. As far as my damage goes, so far I've come out of all my engagements without a scratch. The only damage I have is my TAC comp because i hit the A key by accident while on planet I smaked into the ground. I'll go an repair that and see what the readouts are. For stations, they were all at 100% operation, no damage. I think it may even be a visual bug, actually. Because if i launch at 70%power [according to the station] and dock right away, my power is back up to 100%. Now, what I can't say for sure is if I'm getting charged up right away the second time I dock, or before I left the first time.... I guess the SC would have to answer this one, but I think it's logical to assume I'm getting charged up when I leave. Anywho, it'd still be nice to be able to see pwr levels in flight. Cheers! OK, here's the problem I've had on several occasions, I'm on one side of the planet [Mars in my last case], and I want to jump in my Fighter to the other side [therefore flying through the planet which is always intersting since it mysteriously dissapears ] and as I emerge on the other side from hyperspace, I always establish planetfall right away. So how am I supposed to get to the other side without establishing planet fall? Or to I have to go the long way and make an initial jump to a gate that will allow me a clear jump path to my target?
  12. I think you may have misunderstood the context I'm speaking about. I'm talking about a carrer as a fighter pilot, not as a BC commander flying a fighter. So I can only dock at stations, since I'm not affiliated with any BC. In station, I have to reload my missiles manually. But there is no place to say "charge my craft" or assign anyone to it since there is no other crew but myself and no way to assign anyone to anything. Cheers!

  14. I'm roaming around in a L-FIGHTER, and one thing that bugs me is that I can't check what my charge level is, except when docking with a station. Now is there a way to check this in flight that I'm not aware of? Also, someimtes it seems the station [friendly] recharges my craft after 5minutes, and sometimes my craft doesn't seem to get recharged. What's up with that? Cheers!

I took the Commander carrer/campain, and just after launching from Earth commlink says "Vesperon Diplomat lauched" "Escorting Vesperon Diplomat to Majoris" then "Empirian Diplomat launched" "Escorting Empirian Diplomat to Majoris". Now, there are no ships visible, or detectable on radar. Why am I getting these messages? Am I suposed to escort them, and if so, how am I supposed to find them to escort them, if they are not on radar scopes? Cheers! P.S. many other questions to come later
  17. I am unable to use any Antialiasing method with my GF3 in BCM. DX8.1 and 21.83 NED's. If any are on, the main menu of BCM has a black, flickering bar on the right. But If I turn them off, BCM will not crash [note, if you saw my other post in General issues, the 20min crash period still occurs]. Cheers!
  18. I've been getting the following errors after about 15-20 min. I see other people had problems with it crashing but here is my circumstance: ------- Playing Training Mission 1 Anytime after 15-20 regardless of what craft/FP perspective I am in. Here are two errors generated that are from Component Service/Dr.Watson in W2k: Both are access violation errors. The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 11/27/2001 @ 17:36:29.435 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 0047B835 () [this error happened with V1.0 while i was in the BC around Trion] The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 11/27/2001 @ 19:55:41.676 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 002B7A6D () [this one with 1.0.0.1 While in a shuttle craft flying to Trion] ------- OK, second problem. I transported down to the surface of trion, and then transported back on to my BC in Training mission 1, and the transporter image was stuck in the middle of my screen and wold not go away, either in F1 view, or exterior views. If I Zoomed far out in exterior views, however, it would dissapear, but zooming back in it would reappear. ----- Third. As seen in the pic linked, this is what the BC in the same mission looks like. PIC IS HERE I don't know if you can see it properly, [i'll gt a better pic you need one], but the middle section of the BC is lower than the fins and you can see the PTA turrent hanging there in space, and the gap in between the rear fins and the hull. --- But in between the crashes, I'm having a blast.
