  1. When after playing all night and finally deciding you need sleep, you find that your humming of the theme music is keeping you awake. Or, you search your cd collection for the theme music!
  2. Are there ships crewed by more than one species in Galcom? It seems, judging by the docs that there would be seperate crews, i.e all Terran or all Empirian one each vessel. The caste and career options would seem to support this as well, as do the in game ship designations. Is that true all the time, or, are there exceptions? Are there language barriers preventing this? Has it been attemted in the RP environment?
  3. Gameplay wins everytime. Graphics should support gameplay rather than merely max out a video card. Is it an accident that people are still buying Civilization or Diablo II? Neither are particularly mind blowing (at least by current standards) but they have kept people busy for years, as will BCM. Id rather play Pong than some of the scripted games out today. If I want a totally pre-determined experience I'll rent a movie or read a novel. The pretty vaporware is good to test out one's graphics card (or sell computers at your local electronics store) but does it pass the parking test? As in what cd-rom is parked in my computer at the moment.....
  4. It was a corrupt install, I reinstalled and now it works perfectly. Thanks for the help!
  5. I have trouble saving my games. When I usually try to save, i am dumped to the desktop and recieve the message "Can't run 16 bit windows program insufficient memory. I have reformated my hard drive, installed the latest drivers from ATI, and turned down the resolution and video options in the system options menu as well as in the windows system and display menus. I also have closed all non essential processes( and havent even re-installed my anti- virus program) I am runnig a HP8655c 533 p3/256 mem/ati radeon pci 32 meg( driver 6_13_3276)/Windows XP. I have updated my BCM to 1004.
