  1. Ability to target people/buildings in fp mode, showing their health etc, it would also help you find marines which are shooting at you from a distence.
  2. traders bring supplys etc to stations dynamicly, just because you been watching the station and it hasnt filled up with a certain material, how do you know the transports even had the materiels to sell to the station? Keep watching it, it will eventually get that resource. I think the inflation is static.

Yes fighter vs fighter, is the only part of the game I dont play, because I cant hit the other fighters, yeah I know you can use missles but theres no tactics in that you just fire and hope the ai doesnt jam it. My CC's iod systems track fighters, but the auestorm has a AWSOME pta system, try it go just keep the fighter in the target recticle and it's toast.
  5. er dont take this as a wishlist or anything more of a er.. "gameplay modification" im sure you know it's allmost impossible to hit another fighter with your pta systems, maybe in xp1 you could give the fighter a difreant type of main weapon to give players more of a incentive to play that carrer. Or maybe make the pta systems autotrack it's target when your closer then 20 clicks, so when you fire the computer aims for you since it's extremely hard to stay that close to an enamy fighter since they move so quick.
  6. Thats not whats going on, ok in tacops if you click one of thos buildings which apears to be in the middle of nowhere, you will zoom up to it but it's still under the terrain, so it's not in a yet to be renderd zone. Do you wanna check out my save game, keep it mind it's from 1.0.0.6?

Duncan, I dunno about that ever play freespace2, I beleave that game still holds the title for bigest space vareing vessles, It had a ship called the GTV Colloussus, It was about 2x biger then the stations in bcm, it takes 5/6 minutes just to fly down the hull of the vessle. Only problem is I thought I heard sc say biger ships take up more cpu cycles, so something that size just being in the system would probly lag a 1ghz comp.
  8. Heres exactly what I did, uninstalled game in add/remove programs went and deleted the bcm directory, reinstalled bcm copyied the 1.0.0.7 full patch into the directory. It's installed under c:gamesbattlecruiser millennium
  9. The black hole remains maybe we should just ignore it because we obveusly cant explane it correctly. I completely deinsalled reinstalled "I do this anyways everytime a new patch is out" One small issue wih 1.0.0.7, in perscan the system engineers current task "invades" the next colum.   10. Hey Fractux go into your bcmmodelanimations folder and delete.   11. That thing is cool man, land your CC there it el disapear to.. if you send your marines down there they die! its like the black hole of death no other way to explane it. Thos models I said were underground, well there not really at any one location, any where you click on the planet in tacops, it's like the models follow the camera, or there in the center of the planet, so no matter where you are on that planet there allways under you so I cant give you a location. Anyways thats the only way to really explane it.
  12. If your going to check it out the buildings dont apear until after you have destroyed the starbase on the planet.

I have screen shots of it in fp mode now, when I try to beam down to the planet by the model I get stuck in between the terran or something I cant even explane it.. you cant jump and when you walk even after you've stopd walking you keep slideing. The planet is sygan and the models arnt in a mission zone there in the middle of no where. Duncan, I have 3ds max 4.0.1 I can model but im not good with textures, maybe I could send you a few models and you could skin them for me? so far iv created a borg sphere <- that wasnt hard lol, another question I know you have to add turrets to it in bcstudio, but after that how do you actually get the model into the game as a selectable ship? or does the game have to be moddded for this?

Ok uhm didnt think I was gonna be back here anytime soon but, I took my CC down to a planet to destroy a TER/INS starbase, unpoon destroying it, I exit the planet get my marines ready to destroy the rest of the base. Cept when I renter the planet there are buildings underground like scaterd all over the place, very weird I made a save of the save game incase you wanna take a look. Btw this has never happend before. I just captured some insurgant base, just another station capture you say? well it was until 15 fighters seemd to have come outa no where chaising me, I had the T.A shield good thing they got my shielding down to 10..   18. I noticd a few of you were haveing problems with perscan, I recently fixed it by removeing nv4.dll/ini from the system32 and inf folders the problem is detonator destroyer misses thes files. There from the 1280's which come with winxp, they apeard to have been causeing a driver conflict. Anyways sorry sc. For the confilct of thinking it was a bug and posting in the tech support forums..   19. Sorry. I thought it was a bug because you cant acess thos systems useing keyboard shortcuts while in the shuttle, and they werent shown in that other menu shown in picture 1, it wont happen again.

I never did this but im pretty sure it would work if you figured out how to get your cc to jump to a nav point, youd need to set a nav point on the blind side of a station beleave me iv tried assulting it every other way.. I tried upgradeing the shielding and armor on a warmonger, if you do this sometimes you can get close enough to the station so it cant fire on you. you better pray you actually capture the station, other wise the fighters it launched will chew thro whats left of your warmonger [ 03-05-2002, 16:13: Message edited by: xierxior ]
  21. If your in a shuttle you can use tacoops to acess systems your not supost to be able to acess.   22. Fractux, have you tried chageing your video buffer mode in bios from uc to uswc, and are you sure your video adapter size is set correctly it should be half of your system ram?
  23. Bowemeth, didnt you read my post about the 22.70's they dont work with the gf2 gts. Even if you did get them to work your going to have problems the nvfs.ini file doesnt contain the information requird to install the gts correctly. They work for. Geforce2 MX all models Geofrce2 ultra Geforce3 ti200 ti500

  25. Im also getting that ctd, while switching to perscan it's the only menu that causes it, and it doesnt allways happen. This has nothing to do with intruders. Perscan goes into a specific video mode and if your drivers are faulty, it will fail. We've been through this already and the next time I come across it - without - concrete evidence, there'll be hell to pay. Heres what I was doing when it happend I just got done sending down four mineing drones to venus to mine I then proceeded to beam down resnig and the research officer, I gave them the escort order so they follow the drones.. then when the shuttles were about 50km away from my ship I accessed percan useing ALT-P and it crashed. I tried reinstalling bcm deleteing folder and reapplying the 1.0.0.6 patch, im useing the 27.42's and it's the only menu the game crashes on. I can play for a long long time with out a crash as long as I dont use percan. edit: ok it happend again this time I was boarded by intruders I tried checking out what my marines were doing by pressing alt-p again and another ctd, this was with a new game only was about 10 minutes into it. another thing if you start a new game it wont happen right away I tried opening perscan like 40 times just now no crash, you have to atleast play 10/20 minutes.
