  1. Well it is a more realistic idea yes. But one thing, the shuttle didn't show up when observing the planet/moon. Clicked all over to no avail of locating it. Of course, if I look at the location the shuttle is at and then try to narrow the area down. But on the topographic map of the planet/moon, no blip to illustrate where the shuttle it, have to zoom way in. We'll see what happens.
  2. Well, since we're on the subject of bad shuttles. I sent a shuttle off to land on the Phoebe moon orbiting Mars in order to deploy a droin for mining. Reliving that I can do that for I couldn't find the bleedy "Deploy Droin" button. So I command the shuttle to to RTB. Well it sure does it's damnedist to get back home, but for some reason or another, the gravity of the moon isn't allowing it to leave orbit. It just keeps on banging the top of it's atmospheric envelope. Oh, and yes, a marine is piloting it. I guess that's what you get for assigning a ground pounder to fly something. Now I have to enter the moon's atmosphere and fly over 4,000,000 km to rendezous with it so it can dock. Never again will I have a marine perform a mission as that. Strict cargosweeping and combat for those boys.
  3. Sssshhhh be wery, wery quiet. I'm hunting wabbits.. ehehehehe.
  4. All I gotta say is, "Totally awsome work there SC!!" Love all the graphics and details that you have put into all this. I commend you oh GraphicsKing : ))
  5. This is just an idea but I noticed that throughout the game, there are like only 2 or 3 main songs that are played. After hearing them for the 10th time in a row, I get kind of bored of them. Now they are great little tunes, but not so often. I for one love flying games and listening to tunes, sorta gets me in the mood for the kill. Is there a way of adding more variety tunes within in. Hay, even at some point through the developement having a feature where the user has the ability to add additional music without effecting the default music. As I mentioned, this is just an idea and I have not seen this kind of feature in any other game. Could be a stepping stone for some developer to enable such a feature.
  6. Thanks for you time SC. I'll give that a go and see what happens. I'll keep yah posted or should I say I'll be posting on the outcome. ; )
  7. Ok, I at the end of my wits trying to figure out why the hell each and everytime I go to play a saved game after playing it a few days it ends up not responding once again. Now I've played around with all the settings both in the game and my system settings to no avail. I just can't seem to get it working. Mind you it's fine and dandy if I don't shut my system. I love it and all, but it is just to damn frustrating to have to start over every couple of days. If you have any more suggestions on what I can do to rectify this little problem, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  8. Ok, I've been able to play the game now that I fixed the drivers from my last problem; thank you. Now I have a recurring problem that was able to overcome by playing in "Instant Action" and then loaded up my saved game. Well, now it seems that it's not enough. What happens is that either selecting "Resume" or "Restore", it loads up... to a point. When selecting "Resume", it loads up all the needed files then in the bottom right corner it states Game Loaded: OK, but it locks and then I have to Alt-Ctrl-Del to end the program. When selecting "Restore", it loads up fine to the point where I have my Bridge viewer active looking into space where I was last. But once again it just locks up and I have to do what I did before. I have been playing this saved game some time now and it would be a shame to start over again. But what I can't understand is that I am able to start a new game and it works fine. So why not a saved game. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  9. Thanks for the words of wisdom. I have updated the vid-card and monitor drivers now to their current drives available for the products. I was playing last night and was pleased when I didn't have the game abruptly quite on me. That's a start, but it did freeze on me. I am thinking that the problem is related to the monitor for I have been experiencing problems with it in the past week or so. Yet it is the high graphic games that seem to be the victims of this mishap. As for my vid-card, well it's better than I previously had. All in time I'll get another upgrade of a better quality card. Time and $ will tell.
  10. Greetings one and all. I am somewhat new to this little formum but have been playing BC off and on now since it's creation, and no I'm not a master of it...yet. Recently trying to get use to it again and I have been experiencing a little trouble where I'll be flying around and have also noticed it when in combat, where all of a sudden the game just is gone, totally. Mind you I hear a click from the monitor when this happens. Could this be caused with the settings in the system video control panel where it has it currently set at 60Hz. I have played with the in game settings & cut down on some of the graphic settings, but that shouldn't be a problem seeing as the system that I have. Oh, and all the drives are upto date and current. You assistance on this matter is appreciated. Thanks in advance
