  1. In your expert opinions, would it be better to learn the game in roam or jump into the acm running blindly thru space attempting to complete objectives?
  2. Ok, I've noticed quite a few of you making reference to military things. Is that because you are mil/ex-mil or do you just play a lot of mil sims? Just curious.

My bro and I are always looking for a good Co-op game but our net connection sucks so we can't play those net games. If you could make a free-form scenario that allows mp over lan it would be much appreciated. (unless it's too much trouble, of course )

As a marine or pilot are you doomed to forever be a loner, or do friendlies show up to help? 2. How do I go about increasing the crew's AI? 3. Do co-pilots serve a purpose or can I assign them to shuttles without hindering the fighters' effectiveness? 4. Why does the manual say I can assign waypoints to away teams and transporter teams but the game doesn't let me? 5. Is there any way to tell how far along the RE is when ID'ing artifacts? 6. Is there any way to see what kind of minerals a planet/moon would yield? 7. Is there any reason to explore planets that do not have visible zones? I know this is a lot of questions, but I don't like floundering around not knowing what to do and no offense, but the manual and tutorials didn't help me very much with the execution of tasks. Is there a place I can go to find these answers, or do I just keep pestering you guys?
  9. Hello all. I am new to this series and new to this game. I have some questions regarding effective use of assets and other related issues and would appreciate any help. 1. Can assets be upgraded? (i.e. shuttles, fighters, etc.) 2. Is there any way to form marine teams and give them orders short of individually in TacOps? 3. How do I effectively use SM's? 4. Is there an option similar to fleet C&C for marines and pilots in order to form squads/wings? Any advice at all on tactical operations would be welcome.
