Other opportunities out there??? Yes sir there are. EarthCom is looking for a few good men. When you think of EarthCom most people think "EarthCom, Protect Earth". Yes that is our job but we do more then that. We Protect commercial and domestic shipping routes. Pursue and apprehend all U.F.N. declared criminals (GalCom Commanders gone bad for example). We also have the Omega Battle Group (SCID). This Wing leaves Sol on special missions . With the status of our Ranks right now, there are some prime spots open. I can't make any promises but it would be worth the time to take a look at what we have to offer.

It will not use the 1.0.01 save games. It says bad format and closes the game. Not a real big deal. I made a back up of the saved game before installed the new patch. So I will have it later if it is the new patch. I will just start a new game untill you tell me what I did wrong.

As you can tell by my Sig, when multiplayer comes out I will be in a Fighter. There is no time like the present to practice a little. So I pick up a Raven (still trying to decide what fighter I want to stick with)and some Vagrants , and head out. There is not too much to play with so what the hell, a station sound like a good target. I decided to pick on Pixan. I start doing strafing runs on the station. Get point blank range and fire 10 Vagrants at it, jump out of the system and reload, then come back and do it all over again. The Station put up a good fight, but in the end I make a mistake and miss capturing it. BOOM!!!! Oh well there are other stations....People keep talking about this New America.

Mine prematurely ejaculated....Oops,I mean expired. Sent the required info to [email protected] and got a automated message sent back to me. Not a big deal. I can wait three days for the new patch.

I am also having the same problem as these other gentlemen are having. I will add a little to it. I was attacking a station when it ripped me a new one. All systems were destroyed but four of them. I was even told that the reactor has been breeched and that it is going to blow. I am dead in space. The station has quit firing on me. I should have blown up. After a few minutes of finding out that the ship is screwed I did a self destruct. It shows the ship blowing up and I am floating in space. I press F1 and I am back in the ship with the same problems.

The game is great. Been playing for a couple of hours. I have had it crash on me twice (I believe it has to do with problem the SC has a fix for. I will do his fix and see what happens.) and the restock station allowed me in but would not let me out (The game did not freeze but the little menu with the word leave would not work. I am not complaining....I know it has to do with MP so I will leave it alone.). The sound cracks at times but I know it has to do with the SoundBlaster Live crap that has not had a driver update in a year for it. Love the Music. Going to have run it trough the surround sound system. Time go play some more.

In BC3000AD you could target the ROCKS. But when you tried to tow it would not let you.

You have Episode 1 of the Demo. I see that you have a Geforce 2. Ok most people on here would tell you to RTFM, but I am in a good mood so here is what you need to do. Go to Display Properties. In the Direct3D section of the Advanced settings tab, disable (remove the tick mark from the box) the feature described as: Adjust Z-Buffer depth to rendering depth if unequal. After you do that the demo should work. Good luck!!!!

Yes there is and I have two of them. One is a flash movie called bcm_promo.exe Not too much to it. You get to see a few of the ships with good music in the back ground. December 27, 1999 is around the time that one came out. The other one is a Quick time movie that LordDavid is talking about. bc3020adhires is what it is called. So the 3020 is right. It is just like he was talking about. April 24, 1999 is about the time it came out. I just don't have a descent place to put them....YET. Man I feal a chill comming on.

Where I live the phone company runs their system using DC not AC. They use AC to charge up the batteries. Being a small town they are not pumping much power trough their system. Where you live I bet they are pumping a good amount of power.

He got a shock from the modem in the computer. I bet he had the modem plugged into the phone line. There is a small current flowing trough a phone line. From my own experience ( stripping line for a new phone box with my teeth ) it will give you a small enough shock to wake you up. I even burnt up a modem with a phone line. Got my money back on that one. When working on a computer always pull ALL cords connected to a computer. Also make sure you ground yourself.

It is only going to get worse. People are use to Game Companies that will bend over and kiss your ass to get you to buy the games they make. They come here thinking that you are going to do the same and you don't. It blows their minds. They have never experienced that from a game maker. They complain to you, which makes you mad. You tell them "don't buy my game" and ban them from the site. Now they are shot back to when they were 4 years old and daddy told them no. They now have no other option but to find another place to throw their tantrum. So they end up on usenet to do it. You make it worse by showing up and belittling them some more. You can't expect them to do anything else. Take it like a man? I have seen a "MAN" who is in his forties get mad because he did not get his way. He would then begin finger painting. Not with paint but with that smelly stuff that comes from a persons rear end. All over his cell. You might be thinking he is crazy. No, he is a cold blooded killer. He just has no other way of proving his point. This is what you are going to have to deal with. The easiest way to say is that people are spoiled and expect everything they ask for. They don't want to hear anything else.
