  1. Not yet. It arrived yesterday, a couple of months after I ordered it. Thanks, Amazon. Just finished grabbing the patches. I'll start next time it's quiet at work.
  2. dacis2: Feel free. Let me know if I've missed anything. Jabbapop: I can't find AFV anywhere. Any idea where you saw it? As far as I know, AFV is Armoured Fighting Vehicle, so it could be used to describe just about any ground vehicle in BCMG.
  3. Not quite. I've PTAed fighters until they're disabled, then finished them off with the main guns. I always figured that if you're fighting fighters you ought to fire the main guns just in case you get lucky. It used to be a lot easier in BC3K.
  4. New URL I'm trying to future-proof my site. The URL should remain static from now on. If it doesn't, send abuse.
  5. New URL - I can use HTML now! Or you can use the grand entrance if you like.
  6. quote: quote:SENGINEER and FENGINEER are mentioned in castes. I guessed this would be shortened to SEN and FEN if it actually shows up in the game. Hence the question mark. I've never seen a flight or system engineer on a planet, so I wasn't sure about those two. I'll delete those two. Those are RE and SE RE? I hate to ask, but is that a typo? I'd have guessed FE. quote:RLI has *nothing* to do with the cloaking system.OK, I'll correct that one. quote:Why? Its your project. If its worth doing, do it right or don't do it at all, otherwise its just going to end up being more trouble than its worth.I can hope, can't I?
  7. ? indicates terms I'm not sure about. Some of the entries are from the appendix. SENGINEER and FENGINEER are mentioned in castes. I guessed this would be shortened to SEN and FEN if it actually shows up in the game. Hence the question mark. I've never seen a flight or system engineer on a planet, so I wasn't sure about those two. I'll delete those two. RLI is in the manual, section 6.6. quote: Once activated, the Radiation Level Indicator (RLI) is displayed. This shows the amount of radiation currently spreading through the ship as a result of the cloaking system being on. The higher the RLI, the more radiation there is. Once the level reaches the Red zone, various ship decks and crew will become radiated. The system can be safely operated eight to ten minutes at a time without fear of radiation contamination. The RLI will gradually return to zero after deactivating the system.I can go throught the manual again, but I'm not entirely sure which terms to include. STATUS, REGION, PLANET and so on? ZS10? MINESWEEP, MINELAY? It would be nice if more people could tell me what's missing, but that's obviously too much to hope for.
  8. 292 entries, and now readable. Give me feedback! What's missing, what's spelled wrong, and what's unclear?
  9. I can create a webpage, but my ISP is being difficult. I can use a revolting, restrictive, online template based system, or I can FTP it. In order to use FTP, I have to be on one of their IP addresses, and I'm at work... The template based system won't allow me to upload files, only data. The best I can at the moment is this.
  10. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: SPiny, instead of creating a new thread with an update, why don't you either update the original post with the revision or post a text file on a website somewhere and just post the link? If I try to edit it, I get this: quote:FYI Sorry, the time in which you may edit your message has elapsed. ┬╗ Please use your browser's back button to return. My ISP offers free web space. I'll look into that.
  11. quote:Btw, I think you're still missing a few. Off the cuff, there's APM, APN, APR, CSM, FC&C, HUD, Km and MBase to be reckoned with. I've got C&C, but it won't hurt to have FC&C as well. KM is a no brainer. The others are fair game. The more feedback I get, the sooner it'll be finished. Keep 'em coming!
  12. I thought you might say that. Consider the page numbers deleted.
  13. Isn't the PDF manual on the European CD the same as the US printed manual? I used the numbers on the bottom of the pages in the PDF, not the ones AcroRead gave me. The Acrobat numbers are always 4 pages ahead. The only other solution I can see is a downloadable manual, so everyone can use the same version.
