  1. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good Battlecruiser! (Ok, corny as everything but that's why we're here )
  2. Briiliant! A pissed off superhero. I was dying laughing when I saw the trailer. http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/hancock/hd/ http://www.canmag.com/nw/9998-hancock-trailer (smaller but the site seems to be ok. No pop ups or anything.) And it's Will Smith.
  3. Awww, don't be surly. Thanks Sho. That brings back memories. I played (some of) it this year I think. I got to where I last was. I really need to finish it one day. Maybe I should look up our old pal Kasey Chang and get his tutorial.
  4. The last several were very good. That last one was super good. I've heard there is a "Save Journeyman" campaign like the "Jericho" campaign. Except this time it's Rice-a-Roni.
  5. 7/10 Decent. A couple of moments that made me jump. The rest was tense but not thingies jump out and scare the sh!t out of you. They could have worked on the ending a lot, some of the middle parts as well.
  6. It's intereesting enough. My parents have been grabbing it for me. Don't know where it's going either but I'll watch.
  7. The old light bulbs are gone and replaced by I have been keeping up with the board but these are always dark blue. I have discovered you can click on them and they immediately turn light blue. So, I'm assuming, the first time you visit the forum you should click on all the and change them to . Then it should work like the old light bulbs. Am I right?
  8. Did not know that. I see your point. Of course you may have your opinion as well. I'm not trying to sway anybody's opinion. If they make the ending nice and tidy I'll be happy. Sho, did you like the "flashback"?
  9. Didn't last? It is still on. Plus, where else can you see people wearing contemporary tank tops backwards? I'm a sucker for anything Sci-Fi unless it's just HORRID. Call it a guilty pleasure.
  10. http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/ I caught the first "flashback" today. Talk about timing. The premiere is Saturday Nov. 24, 2007
  11. I liked it. To steal from my mother, it is not quite as "Quantum Leap" as I expected. In fact, it is a completely different premise. But still, the preview kind of gave a Quantum Leap style show.
  12. Very good. Fantastical. Simple and straightforward love story with the obvious fantasy theme. Very good comic relief in spots but feels more like Legend with Tom Cruise than The Princess Bride campiness. 9/10
  13. Very good. Go see it. Like the first one but better. Issues resolved. Quite a reveal. Couple slow spots but not bad. 9/10 I'm surprised no one has posted yet.
  14. I think you're right. I went to the dollar house. It was worth a dollar. Edit: Oh; favorite moment, when Snow White coaxed all the animals to her with the beautiful song then got them to attack with that rock song. Oh jeez what was that? But funny. 16. Errant Story was pretty cool.
  17. http://www.glumbert.com:80/media/laugh/ I just about burst my spleen.
  18. In the article it states that these guys have created a program to use spare processing power from the Playstations (and regular PCs) to form a humongous networked computer. They can perform calculations in weeks that would take them years if they only had one computer even if it was a supercomputer. They are working on protein folding which has applications for medicine. Seti@home is the "Search for Extra Terrestrial Life" and does sort of the same thing with its program. They use the spare processing power of regular people's PCs to scan star maps and such. I'm sure there is an article on this board about Seti@home. Each person's PC does a small calculation and then the main computer puts them all together. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Cool stuff I think. Especially with the medical application.
  19. http://videogames.yahoo.com/ongoingfeature?eid=514753&page=0 Pretty cool article. It's like seti@home. The Ps3's have given the system almost a petaflop of processing power.
  20. Very scary. I walked in the store and the clerk, cute asian chick, was arguing with the "customer". He was saying "I'll pay, I'll pay for it". She was saying "Do you know how many cameras we have? I saw the whole thing. I'll call the cops". Meanwhile other asian guy had a bottle of some cheap wine in his hand and he was ready to pop the shoplifter a good one. They almost got in a tussle and started spinning towards me. I went down an aisle to avoid the conflict. The dude walked out and the other asian guy followed the shoplifter. Scary.
  21. I am now convinced I am the contrary indicator for movies on this board. If I like ya'll won't. If ya'll like it I won't. Sandman drama; cool. But too long. Harry/Goblin drama; cool. Venom drama; cool. Not enough time spent. Or not quality time. Mary jane drama; meh. I'll give ya that! I wish Peter/Spidey would have spent more time trying to get out of the symbiote suit. For the visual effects you should really see it on the big screen.
  22. I liked it. The kids sort of dampened the experience but overall I thought it was good. There were some good twists. I didn't think it was any more campy than any of the others. I grant you; there was a lot there and I wish they would have taken a little more time in some parts. That would have extended the movie but I found the pace great and did not mind sitting through it at all. 9/10 P.S. I took the liberty of editing your title to get it in format.
