  1. my ideas exactly... The definition of MS's upgrades: Fix old bugs, put new in. Then again, this is a Service Pack... should be different, eh?
  2. We had a blast didn't we guys? For more info head to this:http://www.3000ad.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cg...=5&t=000209&p=2 thread.
  3. My two cents: Had a blast yesterday! Wasn't difficult to stay awake at all! Match One: We (and I am not sure I should be telling this, LOL!) had some difficulties navigating to the correct system. Once we found out we were pursuing the wrong location and decided to go back we stumbled upon the Galcom taskforce! LOL! Match Two: This time we took a more direct approach and as far as I know we didn't have too much diffculties other than the 'warping' of players when getting close. It seems as if the 'warping' only occurs when there's heavy gunfire/fighting going on, otherwise I never saw any 'warping' users. Chav and I had a nice fight with Denny, while Deada snook up on us from behind. Chav unfortunately got wacked and shortly after that I was running on only electrical power also, but the timelimit saved my ***! 30 minutes is indeed too little time for a nice complete UC/BCM game. Next time 45 might be worth trying. Match 3: Ooh.. this was my final, but very sweet match! I got the carrier this time and after mission start we decided to launch a full blown attack. The nimble cruisers went ahead and cleared a corridor as I was able to sneak through several systems. Shingen was guarding a jump point and because a calculation error on my side I only had 3mins cloaking fuel left. I dunno if he ever saw me, but strangely enough I could get through quite easily all the way to Galcom's shuttle... While firing at it, trying to destroy the prey the timelimit kicked in and we had to cease fire with a big: "Awwwww......! ". All in all a VERY cool game and I am greatly looking forward to the next one! And @others: please do post your findings soon!
  4. Thanks all! Well generally we can speak of a slow improvement of aviation in Europe.. or even worldwide if you will. So it seems to get better again
  5. Indeed, I hereby confirm I will be there, however what is the exact login info for joining the TS server?
  6. Thanks guys! @Sho: Here you go! Catch! @DreadX: No, not the old neither the new one...
  7. That's not too strange, now the 777 is in full production...
  8. Oh yeah!! Finally I was able to do my exam yesterday! And my CPL/ME/IR (for noobs: Commercial Pilot's License, Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Rating) is in the pocket! And no, not a 'lame' US FAA version, but a full blown JAR-FCL (read: the hard way) version! Not to step on anyone toes, but come on, you guys don't even bother to intercept beacons, just home on them and you'll get there eventually. Just kidding! Relax... Anyway! The Insurgents now have a real life pilot in their circle! *bows deeply* This one's on me!

  11. I am in, at least I think I will be able to be there as far as I can see now...
  12. Great input Shingen! I've been having my own 'Area 51 operations' lately regarding finishing off my crew. It's nice to play around with them and see them trying to avoid the unavoidable!
  13. I loved the Tribes title... With all those little men having their traits, shot to pieces by robots from the scenery... I have it on my Gameboy, Sega Megadrive AND PC, however the latter never worked...
  14. LOL, same applies here; young and fresh... Err... in combination with 'cockpitbuddy' I might see you point here, Chav!
  15. LOL, still alive here on the other side of the 'big-men bath'. :-) Working my ass off to get my Commercial Pilot's License along with my Twin Rating and Instrument rating. Exam will probably be next tuesday! Flew like a stork with cutoff wings today... man oh man, but everyone has those days now and then, lol! My cockpitbuddy would make it even more fantastic; he tried to takeoff from the runway again (simulated engine failure in the approach before landing the aircraft) with only enough power on one of the two! LMAO! (He forgot his final checks). All went well, instructors are there for when you have a 'student failure', lol! Anyway, back to me, at Rotterdam Airport I could get a 5 mile lineup instead of a normal 10 mile one. And a Piper Seneca flies quite fast so you need to setup your avionics in time and with a 5 mile lineup even moreso... Approach altitude of 1500ft was ok... but due to 'student failure' (I lost the picture for a second) we came out too high 0,3 mile before treshold still at 1300ft! LOL, where we should have been at 300 or so. Yeah, it was definately one of those off-days... But tomorrow new chances, new winnings! BTW sorry for breaking into your thread Balor!
  16. Congrats DreadX! I should add that CAPTAIN DreadX is currently helping me out bigtime also, so I am giving 200% support to his promotion! Well done and well deserved!
  17. Freyar, great job, this is exactly what I would find very useful. Any additions or changes will probably be requested by playtesting, but this basic setup is very good! Note: I've pointed out this thread to ShoHashi.
  18. As I see it, its adds even more realism if Raiders can see everyone's position. They're Raiders after all and need a fair chance too, they already have their hands full with being massively outnumbered!
  19. You didn't post the file correctly. Please check the url.
  20. Thanks, well you might have got 'mister Murphy' sitting on your shoulder, whispering what you should do... He always gets things to ***k up you know!
  21. Well I think it might be more of a personal issue than 'something needs fixing'... I would change the following: -The Flightpaths.. maybe change that into one box where you can just jot down where you have been. -Enemies engaged section. It's too small and frankly I wouldn't be interested in what kind of vessels were destoyed and how many. If you do want to have such a statistic maybe change it into a more general format: Fighters, Shuttles, Cap Ships, Stations, etc. In all cases, make the spot to jot things down larger. -Planetfall/Egress info seems useless to me (with all respect, don't get me wrong here). -Finally I would enter a section where the player can write down his AAR (after action report) so he can (if he chooses to) write some kind of RPG-like report. Hope it helps.
  22. Looks nice. It's something I would want to have for the Insurgents too, however some entries seem a little useless at the moment. Fighter Flight paths for example. If its OK I'd like to change a bit if we're going to use this sheet. Nonetheless great work!
  23. Don't make fun of the man Marvin! I assume he's in great psychological pain finding out his lawnmover is gone... oh no not a lawnmower.. a lawn TRACTOR! Even worse! So give him a break will you!
