I hope you remember the whole island maps. ArmA has one bigger island, right. but every other game has tiny maps compared to OpFlash.
  2. I fully agree. STALKER's alife-AI surely knows to keep you on your toes...
  3. there are always indy devs who also love the games they make. so we are save. mainstream can kiss my ass...
  4. you don't really win much. the faster the processor, the worse the engine optimization and the worse windows performance will be in the next incarnation.
  5. not Jowood again. during this year they released nothing but hyped crap. I read about them having some really bad influence on gaming magazines in germany. otherwise nobody would buy their (then) unhyped crap, I guess.
  6. if they only used the full capabilities of DX9, it would be good enough...
  7. "Attack me, I can deal with it" - Derek Smart on Derek Smart. ...sounds pretty funny and reminds me to low standard yellow press headlines.
  8. quote:He warned against signing away intellectual property rights, stating, "As an independent developer, your IP is your bargaining power. If you sign it away or license it... You are signing away your freedom in the future." ...he is clearly speaking of his experience with EA.
  9. ...sounds to me like some dumb specops, who messed it up. but could also be just some dumb regular soldiers on routine duty. choose what you like best. they are glad for sure they did not fall in the hands of the US, they would have been tortured then...

  11. read this about an interesting incident on Guantanamo torture-.....ahh......prison-camp. don't get me wrong, but it really made me laugh...
  12. there comes one story to my mind I saw in a documentary: a former syrian citizen living in canada (also had a family) had to take a business trip to the US. he was arrested at the border for no reason (just for being a syrian citizen once in his life) transported to jordan by the CIA (yes, they work together on this "special service"!) and thrown into a small cell where he was tortured for 10 months. he would have surely died there without some interested journalists. I rest my case.
  13. quote:Originally posted by Cc: Hey ,I bought that game 'way back' when it was only CGA graphics. If its the same game. Space shuttle simulator, right? Didn't know it was still around. Will check it out. Thanks. ...Ah, I know of the old Shuttle simulation you speak of. but I think there is no connection. in this one you can fly several crafts, even more advanced one's, which do not exist yet (but I am sure they will one day...)
  14. ...since most of all "terror suspects" (even a lot in the camp on Guantanamo!!!) were just plain innocents, the answer should be clear.
