I don't like Dl source to much...I dunno something about the archaic need to have a warm Dvd in my hands when computer (as it typically does) goes KABOOM!.

First or third person ..but to be hoenst. Third person is really jsut for looks (Which is why the game calls it Vanity view ;p ), its really really hard to play the game in 3rd person.

It does a bit of lag when the defragging is in progress, but things go right back to normal afterword. Simply put, if your computer is so low on ram (512 and under) that it needs/could benefit from the defragging, you should just putt up with the 15-40 second pause in gameplay. (just make sure to trigger it before you go into a big battle or something ) In playing Oblivion, I only need to do it once every 20-40 minutes to keep everything nice smooth. The really big thing that could improve performance is tweeaking grassheight. Open the Oblivion ini and change mingrassheight to 140-180 ish. It will keep any grass under that height from being rendered, unfortuntly everything starts looking a bit lie Morrowind, but he preformance difference is staggering.

Might want to try some of the tweaks floating around the TES forums and possibly a ram defragger.

I have it as well. I've racked up almost 20+ hours and I've barely done anything on the main quest I've been so distracted by sidequests. What fun

That's the only thing i really dislike about EVe online so far, is that you can only have one character per account learning a skill at a time. That just aggravates a person like me who loves to experiment and have multiple characters.

It's okay. The special effects are really pretty but unless you have already read or at least have a basic understanding of the source book(s)(and/or game) The plot won't make much sense. By the way, the night watch site has a pretty unique movie trailer. It's not actually a trailer, but the entire movie(w/o sound) sped up to such a rate that it plays in 2 minutes

The unofficial reason is that the actor playing Billy wanted to go on to do other things. I have to agree with you though, here recovery was a really quick. Even taking the 1 month lapse between Billy's death and last weeks episode, it was rather rushed her getting over him.

He along with Dee, Lee Adama and half a dozen other people got taken hostage by extremists. At the end of the episode when the Colonials try a takeover, Billy distracts one of the attackers and takes a gun and shots another terrorist. Unfortunatly, said terrorist oesn't die instantly and manages to fire off a return shot which hits Billy in the gut. He didn't really have a chance and he died in Dee's arms.( What is even sadder, is that at the beginning of the episode he asked Dee to marry him and she said no.)
