Just how many forms of wildlife will there be? Will we be able to kill them? If anyone else has any such questions post them here.

"Commander, there's a herd of buffalo charging the ship!"
Rensig: "Oh no, we're all going to die! Ahhhh!"

*The Buffalo hit the hull and bounce off*

Stupid Rensig.

BCG Hunting Contest. Another Battlecruiser X Game. You know, those really should exist.

Even better, how long you can survive with an all Resnig crew. *Shudders*

OR we could have people ride in a halfpipe on shuttles and do skateboard tricks. WHILE PEOPLE SHOOT AT THEM. hehehe. Then the people need to do tricks AND watch out for bullets.

SC, would the new terrain engine be capable of generating dense vegetation ie. forests and jungles?
Yes. But that doesn't mean that it will be that way in all areas. Nor does it mean that you're going to have a system to run it. You have seen the requirements for BCG, correct?

Yea, thats fine and good news. For the past couple years or so, the sole reason I've upgraded my pc is for BC... I'll meet the spec

Hmmm, I wonder. If I send my marins on a long recce patrol, and they get hungry, can they kill the animals for food?

I wonder if they'll be any large alien animals that will attempt to devour my mining drones. hehe..

"Dammit, it got teeth marks on the side of my shuttle pod!"

"No Resnig, you flew into the mountain again, hit the animal, and as it was dying, it bit the side of the shuttle."

"PLEASE!! not the airlock again... I get scared in there!"

It will be interesting to see SC's portrayal of animals on other worlds. With the Galaxians and the new sectors, this commander will be in 7th heaven.

SC do you think that we should put something in to the nonwritten constitution that seems to exhist for this community? For the wildlife stuff (which I think is a grand thing!!!) NO RADICAL ORGANIZATIONS LIKE PETA. The local chapter now follows me around since one of them figured out I used to hunt deer to keep the goddamned population normal in PA with my father. I'd hate to see them get pissy about another game that includes wildlife that you can slaughter (they've done it before )
LOL - with all the possibilities in BCG, Resnig's gonna be so busy I'll need to relocate his quarters to medibay!
6 words

ITS NONE OF THEIR DAMN BUSSINESS!

If SC wants to add animals to his games he has all the right to.. I don't think he's going to let some nature loving people walk into his office and demand he take out animals *oh boy I can just see what will happen if that DOES happen.. Security will have a field day*
I was wondering, when I build systems for office automation and multi-user systems, it's usually better to go with a dual 1Ghz than a single 2Ghz system, will the same apply to this game? I'm thinking along the lines of building a Dual 1Ghz AMD Palomino system, with 1 Gig of RAM.
OH Thanks! Now I know what I'm gonna do in BCO I am gonna be in charge of PETA an interstellar organization that protects the rights of other animals to live without being shot at.

Rensig: "OH %$#@ Commander! THE BUNNIES ARE CHARGING!! AHHH!!"

*Rensig trips and falls on the ground and too scared to get up he just cries*

Shut up, Rensig!

*Commander throws genade at the herd of buunies*

See they're all dead now.

*Commander turns to face the camera*

Now as I was saying...
