The original plans to release add-ons for BCM, have been changed.

Due to the sheer amount of work that has gone into the BCM engines since it was released back in November 2001, and also because the EB exclusive made it difficult for other retailers (they're pissed) to stock the product, XP1 is now a full product.

The fourth title in the Battlecruiser series, called Battlecruiser Generations

The real-world units created and designed for XP2 will be used on the pre-nuclear BCO server which, unlike other servers, doesn't support sci-fi units. Since you will be able to have up to five characters per account (in BCO), you will be able to play with real-world or sci-fi units depending on which server you are on. No, there won't be any cross-overs. So, no flying an S-Fighter from Sygan to Earth and blowing up a wing of F14 Tomcats.

Official announcements coming soon

Cool, who cares if it's an add on or another game. As long as it's out and we can play it.
Well... the fact that it is "stand alone" is very important... just think about it...

So the SC is milking us for even MORE money by making it stand alone? Great, he deserves it since all the BC games **ROCK**!
If you had waited for the official annoucement (just like I said in the first post), you'd then know that existing BCM owners will be able to purchase BCG at reduced price. Naturally, POP required.

Wait for the official announcement and quit making assumptions.
What kind of POP would that be? (I KNOW what it means, I want to know what POP's are applicable )

Is showing the original CD enough?

I hope it doesn't require a box, since those of us (including me), who ordered from BMT and did not get a box
LOL - Yep, celtic accent. I like it.

Maybe this will be a classic some day, like Read The Fine Manual...
