What the game biz can learn

Industry insiders agree: Great graphics aren't enough. Film techniques might help improve story and immersiveness, but how can these techniques be applied to games? .

I've been waiting for that one since I've been playing games. The closest games have come to that is Ragdoll physics but that's only when your character gets killed not very useful for gameplay although it does look good when you die.
