How can I edit the player's start up ship e.g. to stormcarrier? I can't find where this is defined for the acm script. Tks for your help.

You can't, not in bc3k.

The future to select your start up ship is in BCM only.

You can't with GBS-1 for BC3K

You can with GBS-2 for BCM.

With GBS-2 although you can set the starting race, career, asset etc you don't really need to because for ACMs you can set these from the SNG menu options.

This make for interesting scripts as the player can select an asset that's not suitable for the script.

I know a lot of players are going to opt for the Stormcarrier but they'll learn it's very vulnerable when it has no support.

Hey SC, I was just wondering would it be a good idea to put both Pugwash's and Gallion's ACM scripts to the bc3000ad download page.

They're both quality scripts and there's a lot newbies that surely would be interested in them.

Maybe it would even encourage someone to try one of their own, who knows.

Just a thought

p.s. And of course, only if Gallion and Pugwash would approve it.

hehehe...sorry I missed ye on ICQ today Papi.

Good Idea but my BC3K ACM script is rough. I am porting this puppy over to GBS-II. Once that is done - and tested, I would agree to have SC host my script if he decides to.

Good to hear it, I just thought that bc3k newbies could find your puppy easier

Easier Papi? Heck my script was/is way more intense than the original BC3K ACM. Heck, ye can/could not even survive the first 2 minutes after launching...which reminds me, have to intensify that portion some

Easier heck no! What I meant: finding it in the downloads easier than somewhere here in GBS forum.
