Hyperspace Fx not in 1.00.05

The jump to hyperspace Fx is not being displayed in version 1.00.05. I've checked several instant action scenario's as well as a roam game. This affects all crafts that I have observed.

Works fine here. I don't see any reason why it won't be. I tried it with both the original (9/10) 1.00.05 and the re-release version of yesterday.

No problems for me either. Sure you didn't change some graphics options somewhere?

Same problem here.

The Hyperspace 'stretching effect' is totally gone.

And I dont have the slightest idea why.

*sigh* No Chavis it doesn't work for me either(if you are referring to the stretching effect).

What I said was "Ease up A little brother", not "Ease up little brother". I was making no disparaging remarks. I try to leave those to the folks in the politics and religion forums.

No worries mate.

The simple truth is,if no one complaines,or has the 'balls' to to complaine,nothing gets fixed.

Please inform the 'god' the stretching effect is hosed.

Geesh.

Edit: before I get banned.His usual solution to problems.

And if you accept that as an answer....

That doesn't explain why I just coughed up another 30 poscreds.

Because this game has the potential to be the best space sim ever.

Anyway, which fx are we talking about? There are two.

The jump fx is the stretching fx seen in the external cam view. I didn't check this, since I assumed he was talking about the transtion fx.

The transition fx is the mult-colored one seen in the HUD view. This worked when I tried it.

OK, I have reproduced this. The jump fx is not working correctly and it is another problem with the Starforce protection because it works just fine in the unprotected version. Since it is timer critical, I think the protection is screwing it up.

I'm looking into it now.
