nVidia are the worst offenders when it comes to rubbish SKUs. That started back in the days of the gimped GeForce MX cards.
Today, e.g. a geForce 8500GT card is really no better than a GF6 class card and is probably the worst card in the GeForce8 class. So just because your card has a nice high number, doesn't mean squat.
