I'm curious to see what kind of games people like so describe your dream game with all it's bells, whistles and nifty blinking lights and don't worry about whether or not today's technology can handle it. I'll post mine in a few days when I've had time to figure it out...

BCO, with a Tekki-like control set. As long as it has EVERYTHING that's has been said and better. Describing all the details I want would be too long. Some of which is per-item inflation, more specific misc. items, weapon variants (i.e. a gammulan reactor model could be more powerful than its mandorian counterpart, but would eat more fuel (but then you'd have to include detailed power management) ), more race-unique ships (at least 3 capships and 5 fighters each), specialised armament (think IG3), defined production centers (i.e stations don't make everything you gotta import), ship weight affecting acceleeration and braking (which would require to include systems and cargo items' weight), true docking (i.e. either you have to land your ship in the hangers, or to the least you have a detailed animation (unlike EnB), walking in the station and seeing every docked & logged player's ship / fighter / shuttle .. same for starbase garages, transition-less space-atmospheric switching (which Derek has already posted being against).... *mutters*

You get the idea.

If ever you get on the official beta testers list you're a candidate for that. But don't expect it too much, even I still (try to) think that I'm going to pay. Maybe I will, if I get a 2nd account
