Parias
Derek Smart, I have reason to believe your system requirements are inaccurate.I am running a P233 MMX w/ Voodoo 1 and 64 megs of ram.The game runs at 40 FPS most of the time, and lowers a bit when I'm looking around the bridge. VERY smooth all the time though.Hell, I just stood there for a moment looking out over the bridge thinking "imagine what it would look like when I rammed GalcomHQ again.." and tried to imagine it REALLY junked up.I then promptly laughed and skipped down the hall-way marked "DEFAULT" and ran off into the void. never to return ------------------ Cmdr Parias ICV-Galatae ICQ:1293359 Staff member at http://www.tacticalplanet.com "I took this job because I love to blow sh*t up!" Oh well awsome S.C!! Vodoo3 and D3D works fine on my system.

Supreme Cmdr
I deliberately removed those commands from the .INI file, so I guess someone in my testing pattern must have spilled the beans. You can also spawn some stupid test bots with BParias, the system specs for the game are correct. If you think running around in a single room is all there is to BC:3020AD, then you're gonna be in for a shock. Your system specs are vastly inadequate for the game.[This message has been edited by Supreme Cmdr (edited 08-28-99).]

Guest
Again, my 133 is whoefully inadequate for the job, but it did give me a little to look at it and geez looeez!!!!I shall worship at the altar of BC3000AD forever, or until my computer has a nervous breakdown!!! whichever comes first!! ------------------ CMDR Jaguar GCV Excelsior This is not just a game, It's a life unto itself!! Parias
Psh, come on I got full confidence you can make a great engine.. I mean I'm able to run games like Kingpin and Unreal perfectly smooth, and this shouldn't be too much of a problem... er, I hope ------------------ Cmdr Parias ICV-Galatae ICQ:1293359 Staff member at http://www.tacticalplanet.com "I took this job because I love to blow sh*t up!" Supreme Cmdr
Parias, before I bury you, please stop comparing apples to oranges and when in doubt, clam up.How can you dare to compare those single-focus games to an AI intensive game such as BC3K. Which one of your senses have you lost now?
Bad Mojo
Grin. better question is which one does he still have? SP isn't a game mano, it's an ACCESSORY. Part of a whole. sure, your little putt-putt macheen can run the SP, but what about the rest of the game too? Look at it this way. SP is the easter egg inside the real game, BC3020. Kinda like the flight simulator in Microsoft Xcel.*shrug* Just my two cents. Parias
I'll find SOME way of getting it to run smooth! I'LL PROVE YOU ALL WRONG! woz1010
Maybe you unzipped the file without "Use folder names" i.e. the -d parameter. If all of the files are in one directory, then you need to unzip the file with the above option.------------------------------- [email protected] ICQ 27987420 BC:3020AD Strike Pak Team -------------------------------

Guest Hunter
Oh YEAH, bridge looks great! I was averaging 60 FPS on an AMD K-6 II 450, with a Diamond Monster Fusion board, and 64m PC-100 RAM. I locked up tight once, but after a fresh boot, had no problems. Also, I vouge never to stray from Winzip again
