I just realised something. Like a blast from the past. I know this game, or these people if its the same people and same thing. It's why there site looks like it's made by amateurs and not professionals. Anyone remember the game called Birth of The Federation from Microprose? some liked it some didn't? Anyway a few years after it's release some people(fans) wanted to make a sequel BOTF2, but because of copy rights, they had to change the name, the name they changed it to if memory servers correct was Universe Unlimited, because i remember the site was universeunlimited.com and the site stopped being updated after a few months as though everyone quit...and it just sat there with cobwebs, I'd be willing to bet these are the same people, resurrected. the name can't be a coincidence. And if so there track record is no good.

ok I don't usually post topics, maybe you can forgive me on this one. But I am watching t.v ABC to be exact, profiler is on, there's this guy in it who used to star in a soap opera?SP about 10 or 12 years ago called Santa Barbara, his character was Cruz Custeo, i see him here now and he looks exactly the same today as he did all those years ago....how is this possible? Is it that I really can't remember the detail of his face when I was a child, so I am unable to see the difference between then and now? or am I replacing how he looks now over the memories of how he looked back then... any of you know what I mean?

from my experience maybe 5 percent of developers answer forums. 2nd, I think people are taking things a little too personally, you have to realise this is the internet, there is NO way to tell HOW someone is talking to you. the SC tells it like it is, he doesn't know you...he knows nothing about you, why you take everything so personal? when I first joined I thought he was a hard fellow too. but have a chat with him outside of any stupidity such as you have spewed forth and you would see how much the good person he is. and how much he likes his fan base. as always this post will self destruct within 5 minutes of you reading it.

we all band together on particular server or campagne, and beat up all the galcom players present.

Weegee, when you change an avatar does all your old posts change too with the new one? because i cant remember what the old one looked like, nor do i remember an upside down star...or inverted. i think this one surely looks different and not as drab. unless i have implanted in myself a false memory, i have the money to buy the game, im not rich but i have the money, but i have no where to buy it hehehe...so........catch 22

yes your avatar shows up. I personally dont like it, meaning that i look at it, and its not something id look at again unless i was forced too, so its not that i dont like it, its just not appealing. this the first time im here on the first day eheheheh weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i am no programmer, but i know for sure, that the developers are largely with VC++ borland?? maybe years ago before visual c took over.

but like in BC fashion once you complete the ACM arent you free to ROAM? therefore roaming in the new galaxy?

hate to break the table, but i like the idea of the mouse flight controls. simply because i dont have a joystick...and using the keyboard up down left right controls suck. i remember playing freespace a few years back with a joystick. had a blast that was fun. also used to use the joystick with battlecruiser. suffice to say i should get one...but i dont play bc with a joystick now, dont think its neccessary. and theres no real games out there that are must have that i could use a joystick with. i mean in terms of flight sims. bcm=space sim yeah but dont require a joystick for max enjoyment.
