  1. Hi Cruis. In! That was a pretty good log you posted. The screenshots were a nice touch as well! -Sho
  2. Congratulations, Silk! -Sho
  3. I didn't remember the show as well. But I do remember most of the games. I don't think so. My favorite at the time was actually a toss up between Cliffhanger and Star Trek. Yeah, Galaga does that! I got hooked on it in the mid-eighties while stationed overseas. -Sho
  4. Anyone remember this show from years ago? I can't believe that I used to be addicted to those games back in the day! It's amazing how far we've come game-wise. -Sho

I've been watching this on the DVR. It's a 10-part documentary series following the U.S.S. Nimitz on a 6-month deployment. For those of you that haven't been in the Navy, it's pretty interesting. For those of you that were in the Navy, it'll probably bring back some memories. You can also watch the full episodes online here. Enjoy! -Sho

Hi all! The forum is so quiet as of late. What's everyone up to? -Sho
  8. Welcome to the forum, jsite73! Yes, I'm sure several of us have. If only people would use the search feature first...... And you won't be the last! Because we like to keep the forum neat, organized and uncluttered, it would be better for you to post your further questions in the relevant thread where it was initially discussed. -Sho

    Hi Guys!

Nice to hear from you, echo! Things seem to have a way of working out, so don't let it get to you. I'm sure everything will be okay with time. -Sho
  10. I got the DVR set! -Sho
  11. Another year older, eh, SC? Happy Birthday! -Sho
  12. Anyone up to a meeting this Sunday and a bit of MP using UCCE v1.06(beta) afterwards? -Sho
  13. Looks very good! -Sho
  14. Happy Birthday, Silk! -Sho
  15. Part 2 is up now. -Sho
  16. I have the DVD-ROM version of UCCE installed. I used the in-game updater to bring me up to v1.00.04.01 this afternoon. I was able to start up the game no problems whatsoever. However, I didn't see the v1.00.05 patch come up in the in-game updater after patching to v1.00.04.01, so I grabbed it from the 3000AD Patch page. After patching up to v1.00.05, I have no problems running the game. I even rebooted the system and was able to run the game. When the DVD is not in the drive, I do get the "No disc inserted" message, but that's to be expected when the disc is obviously not in the drive. Hitting Retry doesn't give me any error. -Sho
  17. The fighter engine. I leave the comms on and have the music off. I'll take a look in my soundcard settings, it might possibly be something in there. No, I wasn't aware of that. I am now, thanks! The main reason I was playing on the AG server was just in case someone else joined. That'd be ok. I'll be on and off Sunday afternoon. -Sho
  18. I picked this up on Tuesday when it came out and watched it. It wasn't too bad and does tie up all the loose ends from Stargate SG-1's final season. Next up this summer is Stargate Continuum, the second SG-1 direct-to-DVD movie. -Sho
  19. Hi all! Firstly, I'm not really good at writing reviews....only at reading them! So don't expect a Pulitzer here. Over the past several evenings, I've been playing MP on 3000AD's AG server and having a blast! I was hopeful that some other players would join in (hence my post in another thread about the times I'd be on), but I didn't see anyone. Anyways, I haven't experienced any noticeable lag, even with several ships around. As usual, I've been playing as an Insurgent, attempting to take out any pesky GalCom ships that would be stupid enough to venture into my little part of the galaxy (Venus). There's nothing like trying to take on a capital ship whilst monitoring your shields and armor and the excitement that at any time (if you deem your damage severe enough) you might have to break off your assault and jump back to Genesis for repairs and rearming! On one occasion I was trying like heck to take out a GalCom Warmonger that was attempting to "flee" from me through a jump gate. I kept on him, lost my shields and my armor was down to 45 when he finally exploded! Talk about sweating a bit! I received some nice XP for that kill. I also managed to take on some easy targets, GalCom transports, for some easy but not as good XP. Of course, I also got some really easy kills by finishing off GalCom fighters that were damaged and drifting by other Insurgents. Hey, a kill is a kill! Is there a way that the background sound can be lowered or turned off so that I can only hear Mother? She's sort of hard to hear while in the cockpit with the background noise of the ship. All in all, MP is a good experience. If you have the game and haven't tried MP yet, I recommend you do so. -Sho
  20. I'll be on tonight from 6:00PM to around 7:00PM EST if anyone wants to join. I'm also planning on being on the same time tomorrow night. -Sho
  21. Three episodes left after tonight's and a lot of loose ends to tie up. -Sho
  22. Grabbed my copy this evening from GamersGate. This is going to be fun! -Sho
  23. Yes, I did see that. I'm looking forward to seeing it in UCCE. -Sho
  24. Why not pick the following Sunday for the meeting, Quazar? At least if everyone else is good with it. -Sho
  25. Hello richterm! You won't be disappointed! BTW, hello neighbor! Just noticed your location! -Sho
