Great, Kalshion! -Sho

Thanks, Quazar for your PM in this matter. If you can clear out some of your PMs, I'd like to discuss this more with you. -Sho

I'm resurrecting this thread as I believe aramike had a good idea going here! -Sho

I realize that not everyone has the time to participate in scheduled Multiplayer Fleet activities because of time differences, RL concerns, etc. People may also not want to play online because they just prefer playing offline. In an effort to get the Community to contribute ideas, I'm looking to hear any proposals to incorporate Single Player (SP) people into the Fleets that anyone may have. If you have a proposal or questions on this, please PM me and we can discuss further. -Sho [ 09-07-2006, 09:47 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

Attention, Insurgents! The September 2006 Rollcall has been initiated via the Fleet Database. Any Insurgent who has not reported in by the end of the month will be transferred to the AWOL list. If the AWOL Insurgent hasn't reported in by the end of October's Rollcall, they will be purged from the Fleet Database. To Report In, just go to the Fleet Database, go to your personal profile and click on the "has not checked in" item on the Roll Call line. -Sho

This thread will be dedicated to the issuing of orders and the reporting of their outcomes for the current Fleet Action season. A copy of the latest edition of the Fleet Action handbook can be found HERE. This link will automatically update each time a newer version is uploaded. When it is a fleet's turn to give a mission order, the team's designated leader will post here using the following format: Fleet: (Fleet Name) Order: (Order Title - see below for details) Target region: (region on the game map, i.e. from the UCAWA single player galaxy) Proposed times: proposed Time(s) and date(s) for conducting the match, based on their team's availability times and the availability times of the fleet team they'll be up against. GMT must be used for proposed times. If you are unsure what your time zone is relative to GMT, go to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ and find out. Remember to check again after daylight saving time changes are implemented. The titles of the available mission orders (and links to documents describing them) are: System Supremacy Skirmish Last Stand SpecOps: Signals Intel SpecOps: Sabotage Transit Retreat After the order is issued, the leader of the defending fleet for the match (if there is one) will state which of the proposed times for the match is accepted (if none are, he will suggest alternative time(s) and date(s) which the order issuing fleet can choose from). Once a time and date are agreed, the attacking fleet will then send it's mission plan documents to the document handlers. After the match is conducted, the logs analysed and the result determined, the map keeper will update the module, announce the result and request the next mission order. quote: it ended? add me...You were purged for not answering the muster which ran for over a month. quote: can i get back in now.Sure, if you re-applied in the Fleet Database. In the future, you do need respond to the musters. If you are going to be away for an extended time, please let your Fleet Leader know so that you won't be marked as AWOL. -Sho

quote: I assume the fleet leader's meeting is in half an hour on Rip's teamspeak server. If any of you don't have an account there, PM me the username and password you want to use, and I'll create it for you.A date hasn't been set for it yet. I just needed the items to be discussed no later than the August 18. Once I get the agenda complete, I'll email it to each of the Fleet Commanders. It seems like Sundays are the best, like past Fleet Leader meetings. If you are unable to attend, a transcript will be sent to you. The meeting is planned for Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 4:00PM EST. That would be 9:00PM GMT for our European commanders. TS server information will be on the agenda. -Sho [ 08-20-2006, 04:14 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

quote: It's time to move on from the shuttle.NASA is in the process of doing that now. The next generation is called Ares 1 and Ares 5. From what I've read, the Space Shuttle fleet will be retired in 2010 where the Ares line will become operational. They want to spend the next four years of shuttle missions working on completing the ISS. -Sho

There is a Fleet Leader Meeting being planned. If any Fleet Leader has anything to discuss, please PM me so I can add it to the agenda. I also have some items of interest that I need to discuss. Please PM me any items you wish to discuss no later than August 18, 2006. That way I can add them to the agenda and get it sent out to the Fleet Leaders in a timely manner. -Sho [ 08-14-2006, 06:06 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

Prime Fleet Leader Election
ShoHashi replied to ShoHashi's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
Congratulations, Kalshion! Yes, indeed, it was a close race. Now that the vote is out of the way, I'm planning on setting up a Meeting with all Fleet Leaders to discuss some different items. As soon as I get the agenda ready, we'll have the meeting, which I'd like to have on TS. I'll get the agenda sent to all Fleet Leaders before the meeting so everyone will know what will be discussed. With that said, when is a good time and day to have the meeting? -Sho [ 08-08-2006, 05:29 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ] -

Prime Fleet Leader Nominations
ShoHashi replied to ShoHashi's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
I'll add him to the nominee list! Good post, Marvin. That's the sort of thing you need to do when you nominate someone....sell him to the Community. Give the Community a reason to vote for a particular candidate. Silk, or anyone that knows Silk's abilities, do you have anything to inform the Community about your/his abilities? Remember, there's still time for more nominees. In order to properly set up the vote, the cut-off time for nominees will be Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 8:00PM EST. There will be a poll posted to elect the new Prime Fleet Leader. Polls will open on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 12:00AM EST and will close on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 11:59PM EST. -Sho [ 08-01-2006, 07:12 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ] -

Prime Fleet Leader Nominations
ShoHashi replied to ShoHashi's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
quote: Its a shame someone here feels the need to silence the voice of Prime fleet members when this topic is about their fleet. That someone was me, Remo. It was a hard decision for me on whether to leave it or delete it. In the end, based upon the SC's original post on the list and your PM with me, I felt it was warranted to delete. I made a decision based upon the information I had. I didn't know if Marvin just didn't know the specifics or not (which I'm sure he did). Sure, I probably could have posted a reply to Marvin's nominatin in the thread that Remo stepped down, but why? Why do that when Marvin already knows? No hard feelings here, Marvin. Look, I'll be the first to say that Prime Fleet, under Remo, was and still is a fine Fleet. Second to none, even. I realize that it's going to be hard for Prime Fleet members to follow a new leader. I also realize the Remo has loyal members in Prime. But what you guys need to understand is, that Remo is no longer in command. Hence is why this is a nomination thread and there will be a vote August 6. If Prime Fleet members want to follow Remo in his new venture, fine. There will be no hard-feelings here. Please consider that if any current Prime Fleet member decides to go indie, you will not be allowed back in Prime or any official fleet. Prime Fleet will be rebuilt whether or not current members are a part of it. I'd much rather have original members stay, for continuity sake, and to keep Prime going in the vision Remo had for it. But at the same time, all this hidden agenda crap, needs to stop. I need everyone in the Commmunity to help in this endeavor, not to make it a hostile environment. -Sho
