quote: Well, did a little looking and this is as many names for spectre fleet I could find to have posted within the last year, and haven't stated that they've left the fleet. Insurgent One Rattler - Insurgent Two Akira - Rear Admiral Gallion - Format looks good, Evan! You're doing a fine job. [ 11-06-2002, 05:04 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]

Well, Race, I'm a UFO and Space: 1999 fan. I thought both shows were excellent. Do you know if UFO has been released on DVD yet or will be?

quote: From the looks of things, Spectre fleet practically doesn't exsist anymore... maybe we should have a roll call or something?Yes, Spectre Fleet does in fact still exist. Evan, take the initiative for your fleet and hold a rollcall. That's what we like to see with our junior officers...in that if the leadership is incapacitated, it's junior officers will take over. quote: Guess ISS aren't the only ones who are being lazy... Don't count the Insurgency out or lazy, Jerold. Remember, even if the other fleets are temporarily out of contact, you still have Bishamon Fleet to contend with. quote: If you watch the movie first contact, you will see that not only did he meet with them personally, but then blasted them out with his juke box.I threw in my copy of the movie, fast forwarded to the end and rewatched the scene. I stand corrected, Jaguar! It would seem that when Cochrane disappeared in his ship later after the first contact under mysterious conditions, that would probably explain why Captain Kirk located him on Gamma Canaris N 100 years later, wouldn't you all agree? quote: Dr. Zefram Cochrane made First Contact with the Vulcans on April 5, 2063.Actually, DraconisRex, you are slightly wrong with that statement. Right year, wrong Vulcan contactee. The following is taken off the StarTrek.Com site which contains Star Trek history and is sanctioned by Paramount: The renowned Terran American scientist and developer of warp drive on his world (AD 2030-2117?), an eccentric genius who became a reluctant hero. Cochrane launched his warp test vessel Phoenix from an abandoned Titan missile silo in remote Montana and unwittingly sparked first contact for Earth with a passing Vulcan ship on April 5, 2063. The key word is "sparked." He personally did not make contact with the Vulcans. [ 10-03-2002, 05:51 PM: Message edited by: ShoHashi ]
