  1. Did you see the DS movie trailer SC?
  2. That's soooo red and so cool lol. Ever see the Modded 'Falcon' Xbox? http://www.darkops.co.uk/
  3. Ow. That's harsh 1.5/5... I've been tinkering with X3 and the 1.3 patch, still buggy, but they're fixing it bless their little cotton socks. I'm quite pleased with some of the mods the X3 scripters have come out with though, they certainly need to be given medals for their efforts.
  4. The main menu is confusing if you have the IQ of a Raddish.
  5. Point of note, there's a definite rip at Jack T, in Shiny's Path of Neo game...
  6. I liked the review myself, as well.
  7. Oddly enough Matchoo. Even though I have known Derek for a long time, he can trust me to be objective and truthful about his games. If I don't like something, I let him know and as a reviewer in that respect I hope I succeed. As an aside however, as Derek says I should let the other matter at the Avault go...even though I the Avault reviewer demonstrates what is exactly wrong with the attitude of the industry reviews these days. Ego.
  8. My condolences TwoBombs, having recently suffered through the death of my wife's mother, you have both of our best wishes to you and yours.
  9. Ow...painful...LOL re: EA.
  10. One of the clues in the sig Blades.
  11. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Someone pointed me to this thread. While I was there, I decided to browse the forum, especially the tech support forum. Man, looks like another Christmas rush job. No wonder the Xbox version is on indefinite hold. I am so tempted to register there and put in my sig: Play Smart - 'D'Smart. Or something similar, yes...Bruce Campbell is a god *G* As for my own experiences of X3...they broke it compared to X2 in a number of ways. It doesn't feel as nearly as immersive as the X2 game even though the combat is a lot better. It will need insane amounts of patching to get anywhere near what they promised.
  12. I am still around but my RL got hit bad by tradgedy.
  13. Good to hear you're a-Ok SC.
  14. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: uhm, its Avault, not Blues LOL! At least Gamefreak's no longer at Av :>
  15. It was meant to be a humourous Who, as in Who, said in that 'I have forgotten him, because he is not worthy ' tone. I tend to keep well away from the Egosoft forums for that very reason, far too many people have a hate crusade.
  16. I thought the Mad Hatter was only in Alice in Wonderland?
  17. Yep SC, I can vouch for that one from personal experience.
  18. As long as the game plays well and is enjoyable, I can live with or without cockpits. I could beat on my contacts at Koch and get the truth though, but I'd need thumbscrews.
  19. Jack Thompson...there's a madman alright, have been following this...trying not to, but its like a wreck, you can't look away.
  20. As a space sim lunatic I have to admit, X3 is one game that I am looking forwards to.
  21. Rock Solid MP are the words that warm my heart. I'd just like to take a moment as well to thank you Remo for actually keeping the fires burning bright.
  22. Thanks for removing me Remo, the pressure on me and my family at this time is too great to be involved at the level I want to be involved with Orion. But I will keep an eye on the forums and certainly try to contribute something. These things, as they say: are sent to try us.
  23. Well I still have work (hopefully) to do with/for Derek in the future, so I won't be gone from the forums. My offline time is a mix of dealing with upset relatives, a hysterical wife and the death of my mother in law on 02/Sep from cancer so my life to describe it at the moment, is a living hell. Since we live so far away from my wife's family we're stuck travelling back and forth quite a bit, this is putting undue stress on everyone involved including me. As for RP, if there's one person that knows an awful lot about Roleplaying - its me. Since I work in the RPG industry as a professional writer. I used to contribute to the Orion Lounge a long-long time ago but perhaps I can find the time to throw out the odd story or two. I'll see how things go.
  24. quote:Originally posted by Remo Williams: Sorry to hear that Darien, life is full of twists and turns that can be quite exhausting, but we usually pull through stronger when we recover. Best wishes, I hope you can return someday. Many thanks. I will still check in on the forums/community, been around too long (since the old days) to just drop here entirely. But I just wouldn't have the time to contribute to the MP side of things at the moment.
