Ok I got the game to work, I just diabled midi sound and clicked on the normal Bc3000ad.exe icon, and i can play it from there. The video card was supposed to be one of the more up to date ones around(still not a voodoo3 but close) however i plan to upgrade to a Voodoo soon, so if that fixes the 3dfx problem ill let you all know. thanks for your help.

I did just put in that i have no midi turns in i might not actually have a midi ill have to find out if i installed one. but i could get it to work with midi turned off by clicking on the regular bc300ad.exe icon insdtead of the 3dfx one. Am i missing much by not clicking on the 3dfx icon is the game any different or should i just let it go since its working? P.S. i will get back to you tomorow ifi have midi installed or not.

Ok here is the problem, I configured bc3000ad in the sound setup and the digital worked perfectly. The middi however did not sound right but it was playing. i then started up the game watched the movie sequence, and after the movie i got what sounded like a few middi bleeps representing a song then the game froze on the start screen where it gives you options to continue a game or start a new one etc. so i killed it with ctrl-alt-del, and tried again now it tells me my sound card is in use by another device, and so does everything eles. Ok as far as system specs go I have a 700mhz with a AMD-K7 processor, 128 mb of ram, creative sound blaster audio PCI128, and a sound blaster audio PCI128 legacy device(I dont know what that is),as well as a dimond stealth3 16mb S540 graphics card. If you can tell me how to fix whats going on I would greatly appricate it. If you need more info let me know ill look it up.

Yes the tests all worked ill check thema gain make sure everything there is in order. is there a way you can check to see if the game is running off the video card or softwear?

Ok i click the 3dfxicon in my start menu, then it goes to a dos screen writes a bunch of stuff my screen goes black and then im back at my desktop. if i click on the 2d one same thing happens but the screen goes black and stays that way. Now then if i click on the 3dfx icon in the folder i instaled it to,it types stuff on a doss screen and the screen goes blank if i try again it says my sound card is in use. For some strange reason once i clicked on the 2d and the game worked i saw the intro and got to start a game. its never worked again but i can get it to play the intro then the screen goes black and if i click the 2d icon again it says the sound card is in use. does anyone know why this is happening, if you need more info tell me and ill specify.
