Derek, Talking about civility, one way to stave off having to reply with RTFM is to place a warning in the description of the New Commanders forum. Something like "We highly suggest reading the fine manual (RTFM)and / or using the search function at least once before posting in this forum." That way they won't get hit cold with "RTFM!" type replies. You may even want to highlight the newbie area (change the color of the title to green, or whatever). The idea of two sites, one for newbies and one for vets really sounds like the way to go in the long run if you can pull it off without a lot of hassle.

Sounds to me like your crew can't move as a result of their 100% fatigue. I wouldn't be surprised if your theory is right. They probably all got to a predetermined fatigue level and bolted for the door. If Derek uses the same engine for crew movement that he does for marines on the ground and created a internal model of the Battlecruiser with halls, etc. that would do it. You may have just discovered another BC3K phenomenon. What are we going to call it? "Dead crew walking" -- "The Zombie effect" --- " Sleepless in BC "---

Are you going to run the Undesignated group like a Fleet? Specifically, are you requiring attendance at weekly meetings,etc? [This message has been edited by Joaquin (edited 08-25-2000).]
