I agree with all the good ideas said before but how would the "vets" or the "serious" forum work? I think it would be a good idea that only commanders and above (50+ posts) could access the forum (spammers won't get to 50...). If this community turn in a metropolis, it will be quite a shock. The best thing to keep in the clipboard will sure be the "RTFM"... Hmm, if it gets there, I think the forum will need more moderators will a hell lot of patience and/or hair (LOL!) This isn't about the game, but the discussion forum itself. Why sometimes the smilies appear VERY LARGE? Could they stay small as we see them in the left part of the reply message text? Or is the way to put them is the the key? I mean, if you put them between space they'll be big, but is they are just next to a character they'll stay small? I don't know. I don't remember my first WOW! moment, but I remeber a stupid one. 1) Around Earth/moon stargate, in earth region 2) Raider warmonger pops in, attacking GHQ 3) Didn't wanna fight, so I launch my fighter squadron with the Current target / attack / all interceptors 4) Interceptors launches, jump to the cruiser 5) They arrive at the same place, at the same time (out of hyper-space) 6) 2 interceptor destroyed, 1 prop out and one badly damaged. er.... DAMN!!! The only situation type when the ennemy can do extreme damage without even shooting a single burst. Everything is about your connection speed. The server would be next door and it would not change much. Is your CPU is fast enough, enough mem, enough display mem, hardware acceleration? To be honest, I'll say what fleets have my interest and those who don't Interested: Orion Wraith Not: ISS Prime EarthCom All ground and atmospheric things The Insurgency I'm not too interested in the Insurgency, except maybe for their Logistix arm (Balor, if I remember well), 'cause I think one time I will defect to their quite radical ideas. Another question: I usually speak french, because it's my native language and that I still live in a french-speaking area, but I'm quite good in english (and I'm getting better by the minute, well, maybe not that fast). Does it will annoy you? There's no problem at understanding what others may write, but it's writing that is the problem.

Mmmm... downloaded privateer and wing commander, but none of the two I was able to get to work... conventionnal memory thing again... didn't wanted to make to much changes in config.sys... only one time I heard of a computer with 1024kb of conventionnal mem (it was a 286 ), you know, the maker of the computer was BRIGHT!!, but he was alone. Too bad. Hey, by the way, Microsoft said a long time ago that no computer will ever need more than 640kb of memory.
