Derek, could you at least leave some time for me to reply in the chat .. I just saw you and couldn't reply and you we're gone I was chatting on another server (jumpgate test pilot channel) ... I would have replied given enough time ... still waiting for the jumpgate test server to get back up *g*

I can't draw anything with round shapes, neither with a pen or a mouse (computer modeling) .. but I'm pretty good at technical design. I was making trucks when i was young.

Knowing how often I post, I can say that the postingf counts are not up to par with my replying abilities *snicker* but then again this forum is browsable, unlike the jossh one, which makes timeouts half the time. It's partially because of the amount of people that go on it (impressive considering how many people think jumpgate is dead) and the fact that it needs a serious upgrade ... but who cares *mumbles* 15 posts left!

Ok, I discovered that I have a quite basic problem ... in DxDiag, the first test of DirectDraw gives an indentical result! Monitor light goes off, comnputer freezes. Any ideas? I have ati drivers 7.76 ... I'll update my system profile just after I posted this.
