[/RP] As I said earlier, it IS worthy of being called a Gammulan vessel. [ 12-13-2002, 03:28 PM: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  2. quote:Originally posted by Dragon Lady: Um... isn't Diplomacy fleet offensive and Patrol fleet defensive?Correct, but who's saying we won't send an amarda of Stormcarriers from the Diplomacy fleet after him?
  3. quote:Originally posted by Outlaw: Guess nobody wants to hire me yet. Where is the rest of the diplomacy fleet? 'Cmon u guys, I cant fight this alone and u know were the best. Holla if ya hear me!The war will not start until multiplayer comes out, but in the mean time, perform some reconnaissance for me - mainly on GALCOM and the Insurgents. Fly to the locations of their main stations and collect data on how many ships they have, etc. Do try to avoid a big skirmish with a station however. I will pay you with fuel and weapons. In the future I might have some transporting and espionage jobs for you before our next war begins. [ 12-10-2002, 09:39 PM: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

  7. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: I love watching ships explodeTis a beautiful sight, but more so, I like watching Space Stations explode (espicially GALCOM's explosion) with massive chunks of its hull flying in all directions and a shockwave that spreads miles around. 10. It has been one year and one month minus one day since the last Eversor roll call. Perhaps it is time for it to happen again. Anyone else from Eversor fleet out there including our fleet leader, Andergum? [ 11-05-2002, 05:41 PM: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

  16. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: OK, here's the deal, at my new place I have a choice, Cable modem or DSL. Which one is faster, or which do you guys think I ought to go with.Cable. Here are the differences that I am aware of. Cable is cheaper. Cable can download faster. No dial up with Cable. People I know who had DSL (before switching to cable) say that they got disconnected from DSL every 2 hours and had to reconnect.
  17. I lived in Washington for quite some time and I liked it. Have fun
  18. For the time being, the Gammulan website will be in null space since I moved and no longer use ATTBI for an ISP. I will be trying to find a different webpage host in the meantime. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post them. [ 09-17-2002, 12:52 AM: Message edited by: LordDavid ]
  19. Don't worry, I'm still here I'll work on updating the webpage later today. Dragon Lady, you have been assigned to the Diplomacy Fleet. Reguarding ship types and the allocation of Gammulan military recources to those of the Gammulan military, it will be delt with soon - quite soon. (Hmm... post number 666........ I wonder.... ) [ 09-16-2002, 02:43 PM: Message edited by: LordDavid ]

  21. Happy Birthday. I just had one eight days ago (Sept 5).
  22. Dragon Lady, from everything you said, I take it that you do not believe the Bible to be true? I'm curious on what your thoughts are on the Bible; what do you think it is: fiction, non fiction, just a good story, some of it is true but some isn't...etc?
  23. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: Well, In all honesty, Churches fit the description of a cult quite well. Lets define what a church is according to the Bible. A church is: "A local assembly of believers as well as the redeemed of all the ages who follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord"(from Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary) (Copyright © 1986, Thomas Nelson Publishers). It was that when the word "church" was used, it refered to all of those who follow Jesus Christ, NOT some building that has services once a week led by a pastor. The Bible states that followers of Jesus Christ should have fellowship with one another. It does not say go to a building on Sunday at 10:00 am in the morning and be force fed a person's personal view/interpertation (which may be flawed) of the Bible or some other text. Going to a church on Sunday at 10 am in the morning is ONE way to have fellowship with other people who have the same beliefs as ones self. So in conclusion based on what I stated above, going to church is a good thing, a place to have fellowship with other people with the same beliefs as ones self, and to learn more about and to affirm what one believes in; yet technically according to the Bible, it is not a sin or wrong to not go to a building called a "church."
