I have a Radeon 8500 too and with the catalyst 3.8 i had the same problem because they are buggy , there is a clipping phenomenom which makes the textures disappear so i turned back to the 3.7 and all works fine with them as they always used to be.

Hi SC ! Well i don't know where to post this but here is the most appropriate place perhaps. I just want your advice about a problem i have with my new radeon 8500. I know you have a development machine which is radeon equiped so you can tell me what type of problem i have. Well when i go to a planetary surface i can't see nothing because all is drowned in a very dense coloured fog, for example on mars there is no visibility because of a red fog everywhere , on earth the same thing but the fog is grey, on saturn the fog is green ! I suppose this is a material problem with the card itself,because this issue is the same with all the drivers but if you can give me your advice it will be cool: i don't know how the planetary engine is programmed, but are you using some transparencies for cloud representation or things like this ? Thanks for your attention. Edit: this is "fixed", the catalyst drivers are not good as they pretend to be. Sorry for the bothering.

I tried to play BCM with the wallpaper enabled and there is NO problem doing this because BCM needs 100% of cpu time and the wallpaper just disables itself without interfering, just like they said on their site. Pretty cool.

Hi all, just to say if you have an nvidia display card, don't use the detonators 28.32, because they are crappy and buggy: with them you will have some CTD with intruders and infinites loops, just use the 27.52 instead it works fine. Cheers.

Hi SC, i had noticed that if i save in a slot which is occupied, when i restore the save game it is corrupted and it freezes the game. Well this is annoying if you have multiples save games in all slots, because you cannot delete a slot for replacing its contents, you must delete all your profile. Oh, and i had experienced in the roster and in the CSD that i had negative experience points ! Cheers.

Hi, i just noticed a feature that seems to be a bug, but is it really ? Well, in the RTM i cannot disable or enable all the options listed because certain keys are not responding : the 0,2,7 and 9 keys on the keyboard. Is it a normal feature or not ? Cheers.
